and someone who was in the first ever episode is back

I guessed the wrong person last week. I thought it was the fiance, although I did suspect that he didn’t die at the time of the blackout.

I didn’t quite understand how they were making money though, apart from it was to do with crypto currency. If it were that easy, surely we’d all be doing it.

I think much energy is needed for mining and if one were to pay for the energy it would render any profit moot. So that in the episode it only was profitable because they stole the energy.

That would be nice! Saddo that I am, I got quite emotional seeing JP last night. The very first uniformed officers were Dwayne and Fidel. One of them? Dwayne and Darlene working together could be tricky. I think they'll go for someone younger, though.

I wonder how much longer Ralf Little will be there? He's the longest serving DI to date.

Marlon grew on me. I enjoyed his character arc and watching him grow up.

Hope it's not Fidel. I always found him quite dull and I thought Danny had had a falling out with someone on the show or the producers so assumed it wouldn't be him?

I love the show but wish they would stop doing the thing where the reveal is all about switching the time of the murder thus making an alibi irrelevant

Any half decent post-mortem would have shown no blood on the door bullet, and fake blood mixed with the real blood on the body and shirt.
Impressed that the killer managed to shoot him exactly where the original bullet holes in the shirt were, and that the parrot didn't fly off at the sound of either gunshot.
Also, how did Marlon notice that his attacker had his face covered, but failed to notice which of two very different people attacked him? For me, face covering would be way down my list of things to notice, and it's not like they were the same height, build or race.

I thought the parrot was going to give the name, address and phone number

Yes, I was thinking this, and I'm not the most observant or suspicious person.

Yes, I didn't know how it was done, but was fairly certain he died at a different time from the blackout, as they kept repeating "we know the time of the blackout so we know the time he died"
