Yah. One of my fav series is back. Easy watching - nice location and like to guess the murderer. Often wrong. Sometimes right 😂😂

sunday is the 100th episode as well

and someone who was in the first ever episode is back

‘I was lucky enough to be in the very first episode of #DeathInParadise now 12 years have passed & I was delighted to be asked back and appear in the 100th episode alongside the legend that is Don Warrington & a fab cast’, he wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of his family and Don Warrington.

sure was on a Friday night last series so wonder why now prime time on Sunday for bbc but who cares

I think it’s the humidity that makes it tough

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 02/05/2024 18:05

Yes, I can't cope with humid heat!

ArcaneWireless · 02/05/2024 18:07

I’d cope with it with him there…

Although I did have a soft spot for our Lurchio too.

JewelleryCat · 02/05/2024 18:09

I hate humidity too but wouldn’t the rainy season make it more humid?

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/05/2024 18:39

Always makes me laugh that the one from England is cold and wears shirts /trousers

And the other officers when plainclothes wear skimpy shirts and strappy tops

I would be hot in full dress if used to uk weather

I'm not sure if it's that they're cold-more too uptight to not wear a suit/collar & tie to work.

Not absolutely sure about this. Mind you a couple of them have arrived and I wasn't sure about but warmed to their characters after a few episodes. Personally I think it should be a person from the island instead of the 'white man from UK'. Just my opinion of course.

Wish I'd put a bet on this now 😂

Bruisername · 02/05/2024 20:52

I don’t think he will be of the island and will probably take them aback with his Britishness.

I'm glad we are having a change - I found Neville had done his time and the last lot of mysteries were more predictable

MissHavershamReturns · 02/05/2024 23:15

I think this is an exciting choice

JaneJeffer · 03/05/2024 01:19

Oh I loved him in Eastenders. He was brilliant.

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/05/2024 08:26

He will be single as they always R.E.M. to be

Maybe they need to bring a family over

Ardal O'Hanlon (Jack Mooney?) had his daughter with him for a time. I suppose the shack is a bit small for a family, though.

Bruisername · 03/05/2024 08:56

I could do without too much focus on their personal lives tbh.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 06/05/2024 15:49

I recognised him from him popping up in a few things, but mainly from Old Jack's Boat! I knew Danny John-Jules from Storymakers and MI High. Never mind the serious acting for adults they've both done. Grin
