I was really disappointed. It seemed very dull and flat and the ending didn't seem right and fitting

I think they should have done a longer last episode and developed some of the ideas a bit.

Total downer. As DS pointed out, wherever Alison will be living, she’ll be surrounded by ghosts anyway. Not sure the money for the house would be worth losing your ghost family.

Guessing Alison and Mike became millionaires after selling the house. Did think Alison was going back to die with being so much older and her and Mike would become ghosts too at Button House. 😞 But think it was to show they never forgot the ghosts and returned every year to visit them .
Loved the plague ghosts in the steam room at the end 😂
Sad it’s finished now as absolutely loved Ghosts .

They didnt want to leave when they had the choice before. Why would they go now and leave the ghosts behind? Really pissed off that such a series finished on a low note

Too short, too much annoying bloody mother in law , not enough Kitty and Fanny. Just a really bad way to end an absolutely wonderful series. We are all feeling really upset in our family. We thought the ghosts might all be “sucked off” to heaven or wherever. Just abandoning them to never having all the lovely things Alison brought to their death lives was horrible.

I loved it.

The Captain trying to do baby talk. Thomas giving Alison the cold shoulder. The Captain realising he needed to intervene and doing his panicked run to reach the other ghosts.

The nativity scene on a trailer.

The plague pit ghosts in the sauna.

I wish I hadn't watched it, to be honest. I loved every episode up to this one and now I feel cheated. It didn't move me at all.

It didn't make sense, if they wanted more space they could just live in different areas of the huge house. Anywhere Alison lived would have different ghosts. Just seemed a bit rushed.

That's what I thought they were going to suggest, that they (the ghosts) live in a separated part or even an outbuilding.. then they'd all get space. Like others have said wherever they move to Alison will get ghosts.

I think the point was that the ghosts were their family but now Alison and Mike have their own family and need to move on. Also, the only thing that could make the endlessly patient Alison reach the end of her tether was the sleep deprivation of motherhood. And Fanny seeing the annoying mother in law in action caused her to realise the impact she and the other ghosts were having, and conclude that Alison and Mike needed a break from them too.

Not necessarily. Robin didn’t die in the house, he died on the land it was subsequently built on.

In the first series they found a new build house that didn’t have any ghosts but decided not to buy it.

I thought it said Higham suite but I couldn't think of the relevance..?
