I actually really like the american version once I stopped seeing it as the same thing with american accents. I love the different things they introduced, like how the ghosts can shout across to the ghosts in the other house. And the love story between the two soldiers. And no trousers guy trying to date the sister. And Matthew Bayton does a brilliant guest appearance.
