Francesca's teeth are like that because she sucks her thumb.

I can't decide at this stage who I think would do a good job of Nancy but Francesca and Ashley have to go very soon. I can't stand week after week of wondering why Francesca's mouth looks so strange!

Has anyone else noticed how strangely Jessie stands and moves? She has awful posture!

Another JB fan here - I can't explain it, I'm sorry. He's just so..... Nope, can't think of the best way to sum it up but he's bloody lovely!

And the stylist on the show should be sacked. She manages to make even the tiny ones look like absolute heifers.

I really like sarah too, and Jodie.

Agree Francesca's mouth is too dodgy and it is off putting.

Niamh would be a fab pop star but not a nancy. Samantha is bland, ashley needs to go soon.

I like jessie but she strokes herself and tugs at her dress in every performance.

Sarah's dresses are all wrong... she is pretty and curvy but they mske her look very squat and chubby

I have liked Jodie from the start and think she would be great as Nancy.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has obviously got the hots for Samantha, who is vapid at best.

Yes, Jodie seems to be closest to my idea of Nancy - particularly with the way she did her song this week showing she can do vulnerable and quiet as well.

I saw Joseph last october.....LOVED it! I am sure it was only due to my voting for him 6 times on the night of the final that Lee won!!! (deluded emoticon)

Dont think I will go and see this production, though. Its not one of my favourite musicals. Neither is The Sound of Music.

Would be over the moon if they did a production of Singin in the rain or Kiss me Kate!!!

Can someone please explain to me the attraction of Niamh? IMHO she is nothing like I expect Nancy to be. She is too young and expressionless. She doesn't have the "gutsy"-ness that Nancy should have. She just seems lost and timid. And actually I don't think she sings very well either. But DVO and the panel LOVE her. Why? They accuse others of not having the grit and edge that Nancy needs, but she doesn't have it and they don't complain. Why?

I do think she has a nice voice, but that is not enough for the role of Nancy. She is far too young, basically.

Niamh is too expressionless. DH reckons she'd make a better Christine in Phantom and I can see what he means.

We just saw Joseph over Easter, becaroo. Ds (5) and I were fighting over the opera glasses. He wanted to look more closely at the mechanical camel and I - er - wanted to look more closely at other things on the stage

jodie's hair looks so common atm and I think she should dye it choc brown.

Think she would make a great Nancy but I do like Rachel as well.

I quite like Jodie though whoever put her in that godawful satin 80s dress the week before last should be shot. It was like a cheese and wine PTA meeting flashback and made her look huge poor love.

Does anyone else see the panel steering more towards Francesca and t'other professional girl (rachel?)with their comments? ALW is the only one who mentions the fact that Francesca is not a great singer it seems. Are they trying to make sure they get a pro again after Lee d'ye think?

Favourites today - Rachel,Sarah and Niamh - I felt quite teary at Niamh's song and I don't even like it. Most of them seem very shouty and exaggerated in their movements...I find Jodie quite coarse and hefty.

I love watching Niamh, she's beautiful, but not sure she could do the roughness of Nancy. My favourites are Jodie (although crap song today) and Rachel.
I predict Keisha or Ashley to go.

ashley was awful. Out of tune and shouty. Keisha is NOT Nancy. liked Rachel best, then Jessie, Sarah, Jodie adn Francesca in that order.

Samantha was shouty too today though she did manage a bit of emotion today...

My DDs agog... how does one find out about open castings for things like this? Even if only to make them queue for long enough to realise that working hard in school etc a better long term option

I like Keisha and Niamh and think Ashley should go. I think Keisha would have the stamina. Niamh is beautiful and performs beautifully. I like Francesca as she looks memorable and sings musically.

If Ashley gets in the bottom two then I don't think ALW will save her. Who does her hair for the show? It always looks awful, like seaweed.
