Ashley: Horrendous cruise ship gurner - she must got but ALW was unnecessarily cruel.

Jessie: Moves like a hod carrier but still could just do it. They have 6 months to work on her.

Rachel : Going off her, she's solid but somehow dull and really average tonight, I agree she didn't communicate the song well.

Niamh: Looked like she was going to a five year old's party. Love her but she's too slight for the role, she's totally watchable and should go far but just not tough enough.

Sam: could do it, I like her more and more. Danced a bit like a bloke today though.

Jodie: She's still a bit Karaoke for me, and also an overacter too as the Lord said.

My final would prob be Sam, Jessie and maybe Rachel

Also I would fire the wardrobe designer!

I would also shoot the stylist

S/He makes them look like Heifers (except Niamh, who is a bit Willow-the-Wisp/Wednesday Addams imo)

Is it the stylists fault or have they all put a few pounds on since teh show started? (except Niamh)

That poor Sarah, she looked lovely in the vt footage... on stage she had lumps and bumps in all the wrong places

Those satin-y dresses that cling are AWFUL

They always have really crap songs to sing as well.
The problem is that none of them seem like nancy material to me. They just aren't very alluring. They seem to frump around on stage, making weird facial expressions.

agree regarding the awful clothes. very unflattering for those with 'normal' figures - Jodie, Ashley, Sarah.

Agree about the dreadful clothes as well - they all look awful, even the good-looking ones. And some of the songs are dire. They seem to give them far too many 'poppy' songs which they all sing with fake American accents. Why can't they give them more songs from different musicals, songs which really do tell stories and don't demand arms flung back in pop star mode?

Yes, why don't they sing more musical classics? It's just so obvious? Maybe they want to grab the karaoke/britain's got talent audience too by singing so many god-awful popsongs? Many songs are entirely wrong for them. And the panel keep saying: 'That's the wrong song for you!" Why not pick some better ones? Who's choosing the blardy things?

And the dresses, whoever it is, man or woman, doesn't like those girls/women at all!

What about the younger v older Nancy sing off? I thought the walking stick comment from Jessie was really funny! I thought the young ones did well and the old ones, it's hard to judge, I find Ashley so dreadful she ruins any group presentation for me!

I agree about the pop songs, there are so many songs from musicals which would really show who was right for this and who wasn't. As for the trio battle, I think the "old" ladies beat the girlies hands down. But its time for Ashley to go, wonder if the scottish contingent can see that yet? Andrews cruel comments just seem to get her more votes.

Hope Ashley goes. Thought it was her worst performance yet (or maybe I'm becoming even less tolerant of her cheesy gurning). Rachel wasn't great this week. Jodie's voice sounded a bit rough to me though the panel loved it. I really liked Samantha for once and actually heard all the words (unlike when Beyonce or whoever sung the song), I think she could be Nancy, ALW seems to be talking her up for the part. Tuned in too late for Jessie and Niamh but thought the comments directed to Niamh (too young etc) seem to be setting her up to go soon.

Thought Jonny was the best Oliver in their task shame he hasn't been picked yet. (The Olivers' group number was pants though!)

Oh forgot to say, thought the Nancys' group numbers were a great idea. You can really compare them properly when they have the same song and same choreography. Rachel and Sam totally outclassed the others in their groups. Poor Jessie really needs some lessons in deportment or maybe to do some Pilates and develop a bit more core strength, she looks like a sack of potatoes. Huge shame as she obviously has vocal talent.

Yes Jessie does need a lot of movement work. She moves like a huge builder!

I think we're in for a shock tonight... can feel it in my bones...
