Jessie was stunning this week but she was sort of doing a Minelli impersonation, I thought.

She also does that Joey from friends smell the fart acting I suppose they all do a bit - guess that muscial theatre for you.

The Lord's facial spasms are one of life's unique pleasures, such childlike expressions, I almost find it adorable but not quite because he is most heinously visaged and on occasion I do wish he'd wear a phantom mask and spare us the full experience of his face!

The Isle Of Man hasn't really been re-named the Isle Of Sam has it?? If so, that's just ridiculous. I wondered if sam was getting the 'skimpy outfit' votes, but then realised that not many men will probably be watching it, or if they are, they'll all be old pervs like Barry Humphries which would explain the 'skimpy outfit' vote. She does wear the skimpiest outfits doesn't she?

Yes MummyP she wears crotch-flashers for the perve contingent and at Humphries age, 'perv' is not an exaggeration!

But in luvvy land it is much more acceptable to letch at virtually underage girls than it is in the rest of society imo!

I know I'm a bit late to the party, and haven't the time (or inclination ) to read through 389 threads, but just one question.

Why oh why is Ashley still in this? She's bleedin' awful and her 'arch' facial expressions just make you want to punch her.

I'm still undecided on who I want to win though. I reckon Jodie'll make it to the final but won't win. I can't decide between Jessie, Rachel & Sam. Niamh, though great AND beautiful, just isn't right for Nancy.

ashley's getting the underdog vote. no other explanation is possible.
She is a talent free zone and hideously irritating, full of ticks, mannerisms, googling at camera and far too much smiling. yuck.
Jessie might win, Rachel is not connecting with the audience, Jodie sure must have a chance and maybe Sam too. Niamh is too fragile for the role I think.

I think the final will be between Jessie and Jodie.

Jessie has all the class. She just looks like she owns the stage when she performs. And she's starting to look like she owns the role too. I can't see anyone beating her now.

jessie can sing, but she can't do cockney, and they've said all along this is more of an acting role.

It'll be Samantha, or "Sammy" as ALW calls her, she's definitely his favourite, and is subtly being led to the finish line. She's sweet and young enough to mould.

Well, with dialect coaches I think her accent can be fixed. They might even think it's not inauthentic to have an Irish accent in Victorian London. Maybe they'll leave it as it is, and let the role mould itself to her, rather than the other way round.

The public might be favouring Samantha, I'm not sure, but I do feel ALW is highly enamoured of Jessie. Last week he said her performance was the best he'd ever seen from someone of her age. He doesn't throw compliments like that around lightly. If it was up to him, I think she'd get it.
