yy Laura's friend gave Arthur a hard time because he didn't have a plan for them both for after the show but neither does Laura. None of the couples have really talked about how it would work in RL except Jay and Luke - when Luke said he

The wish list someone put above is exactly what MAFSUK was like when it started. Real couples. Proper experts and advice (including a vicar iirc!) and they both went back to their own jobs and tried to see how it would work. No trashy dinner parties. No big drama with other couples. It was just each individual couple trying to stay married.

I was really pissed off by the icksperts telling JJ he needs to affirm Ella everyday - he's not a fucking therapist, he's shouldn't be put in charge of Ella's self esteem.

It's obvious that it would never be enough anyway, no matter what he said or how often he said it she would always need more.

Ella needs to deal with her own self esteem issues - the icksperts should know full well that hanging all your self esteem on what someone else thinks of you or tells you is a very dangerous game and leaves you extremely vulnerable.

When this started however many years ago I didn't watch, I think it clashed with something and although it looked interesting I didn't go out of my way to watch so didn't. But. I thought it seemed like a good idea and then trailers looked good. Ordinary people, different ages, types, blah. I even wondered if I would do it but thought if it made it to more than one series the law of diminishing returns would kick in. Cf Big Brother. Great at first then gradually less a car crash and more a total fucking pile up. Trust me to start watching MAFSUK mid pile up. Still hooked thobut.
