Posh, we went last time to the restaurant at the zoo.(no jokes please) lunchtimes we like Bagels and Beans (do gf bagels), and weirdly enough the restaurant at Biekendorf (sp) the big department store is excellent.(and it’s an amazing shop) We were in Oud West, and we went to a lovely Thai place. I’ll look for the name. Albert Cuyp market is amazing, lots of brilliant street food.

@TheDogsMother we went to Amsterdam quite recently and had a really lovely dinner at a chicken place called Van 't Spit. There are a few branches - it’s not remotely posh, more of a pub, but the chicken is really delicious and the frites are too!

They are! Hema has the big choc letters, only a euro each, perfect stocking fillers. There’s fresh stoopwafles on the market too.
