Mamma Mia: I Have a Dream — Anybody else watching?

I'm not sure it'll reach the heights of the BBC ALW shows (I loved those!), but I'm going to give it a go.

Some Greek sunshine will also be nice now the evenings are getting darker!

Owen had a lot more choreography than Tobias. I liked Owen's acting and Tobias’s singing.

Stevie’s voice seems to have really changed since Greece. It’s a lot less light.

I don't want to pay to hear any of them. Tobias over sang and his voice won't hold eight performances a week. Stevie less accented in this. Owen poor opening.

Still stick by my original prediction - Esme and Tobias to win.

Esme and Tobias for me. Both seem more at home on the stage and voices slightly better.

I’m glad you all said that. I felt the same.

‘Winner Takes It All ‘is actually a very sad, dramatic tune and should be sang with emotion, not be so lyrical.

I don't think it helps I like that song, I've also loved the slow version of it they play before announcing the results

None of them stood out bar maybe Esme. OH thinks I'm heartless 😂

They’re all pretty terrible- not voting . Dd wants to go and see it, I can think of nothing worse

so glad Desmonda is doing so well elsewhere- easily the best of the bunch

I'm glad we went last summer (2nd time for me). The current Sophie has an amazing voice but does overact imho.

Desdemona was definitely the best singer I think it's not helping I'm thinking how well she'd have sung that

Maybe we should have had more indoor episodes so we could hear how they'd actually sound in situ

Agree I said Owen would suit a supporting role better

We are going to the football in London for DH birthday and I suggested seeing this but I'm a little underwhelmed, hopefully it was just nerves tonight

I was going to say, it's in the second film. I just watched it before this was on sung by Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried. Isn't the ABBA version a bit stalkery or sonething? I loved it in the film but don't love the ABBA version!

Don’t think the ABBA version is stalkery, but I don’t really love it in either their version or the one in the film.

My favourite version is from a really obscure 1980s musical
