The Ex-Wife is a four-part series that begins on Channel 5 on Sunday 15 October at 9pm with each episode airing weekly at the same for the Autumn 2023 season. This drama was previously released on streaming service Paramount Plus on Wednesday October 12 2022. All3Media distributed internationally.

Tasha, played by Céline Buckens, appears to have everything, from her loving husband Jack (Sleepy Hollow’s Tom Mison) and their beautiful daughter Emily to their gorgeous home and seemingly perfect life.

The only problem is Jack’s ever-present ex-wife Jen, played by Janet Montgomery, calls him constantly and refuses to sever ties with his family.

But when it all comes crashing down, Tasha is left with no choice but to turn to Jen, the woman she despises, for help.

The Ex-Wife follows Tasha (Céline Buckens), who appears to lead the perfect life. The only fly in the ointment is her husband Jack’s ex-wife who is an ever-constant presence, speaking to Jack nightly and always turning up to family functions.

Then, one day Tasha returns home to find Jack (Tom Mison) and their daughter Emily missing and, at her wit’s end, she has no choice but to ask Jen (Janet Montgomery) for help. But the pair have never seen eye-to-eye, so can Tasha really trust Jack’s ex?

I saw this advertised a while back but as I don’t have paramount couldn’t see it

Hayley certainly sounds a piece of work. I guess her first loyalty’s to her brother though and goodness knows what he’s been feeding her and on top of that, she’s Jean’s best friend of at least 20 years.

I keep musing on the twist and the resolution of the story, after all it’s called The EX WIFE so it can’t surely hinge on Jack or Tasha.

Have you noticed Jen has a wedding ring on her left hand, or at least I'm pretty sure she does in one scene in the bedroom.

Yes! I thought ahh that's all tied up very nicely, when Sam walked on and they zoomed out ... then they had to sneak that end bit in to make you think!

How did she get the baby abroad when she was meant to have died? Did she already have a passport?

Well, yes, that, and also, if Jack was really planning to take Emily to Toronto, he'd have needed a passport for her, wouldn't he?

Oh god, I thought that was seriously awful. Watchable but awful.
That bit where Jack went to where Jen was with Emily asleep in the cot and yanked the curtains back looking outside for Tash was laughably bad.
I also guessed Emily was alive all along. These type of dramas don't kill babies off.

@duc748 oh yes that too! It's best not to think too much 😂 But I am surprised Tash got off lightly considering she was speeding too without a license and some poor man died. But then it's fiction I guess and it seems like a series 2 is being set up.
