The Ex-Wife is a four-part series that begins on Channel 5 on Sunday 15 October at 9pm with each episode airing weekly at the same for the Autumn 2023 season. This drama was previously released on streaming service Paramount Plus on Wednesday October 12 2022. All3Media distributed internationally.

Tasha, played by Céline Buckens, appears to have everything, from her loving husband Jack (Sleepy Hollow’s Tom Mison) and their beautiful daughter Emily to their gorgeous home and seemingly perfect life.

The only problem is Jack’s ever-present ex-wife Jen, played by Janet Montgomery, calls him constantly and refuses to sever ties with his family.

But when it all comes crashing down, Tasha is left with no choice but to turn to Jen, the woman she despises, for help.

The Ex-Wife follows Tasha (Céline Buckens), who appears to lead the perfect life. The only fly in the ointment is her husband Jack’s ex-wife who is an ever-constant presence, speaking to Jack nightly and always turning up to family functions.

Then, one day Tasha returns home to find Jack (Tom Mison) and their daughter Emily missing and, at her wit’s end, she has no choice but to ask Jen (Janet Montgomery) for help. But the pair have never seen eye-to-eye, so can Tasha really trust Jack’s ex?

I saw this advertised a while back but as I don’t have paramount couldn’t see it

Think there has been a s2 as well so hopefully that will come later

I am hoping that the ex and wife are cooking something up!

I did wonder if Jen and Tash were / are lovers tbh !!
Might be a bit of a huge twist there if they are!
( but I'm doubtful!)

E3 tonight - the plot thickens

Well he's planned it all out, hasn't he?!

Didn't someone tell Tasha that the husband had fertility problems, not Jen?

I think the ex is very dodgy myself

I thought she was going to run her over then! I knew I didn't trust the ex-wife!

Why would Tash have not told anyone she was going with Jen?
Why would Tash not ring the police instead of Jen at the end?

Indeed. Ridiculous. But I’ll still watch the ending next week.

I missed a bit and need to rewatch as I didn't see how she ended up captive and Jen didn't. I had a feeling ex was dodgy because she agreed to take her to surrey.

Jen said she'd go inside and get the baby as she knew the layout. She was wandering outside and husband hit her over the head and out her in that room. It was planned all along by the looks of it.

Do we trust jen or not

Did she know what jack was going to do

Ans why she took Emily

Scary how it can all collapse. Locks changed. Divorce. No rights over house etx

I'm guessing that Emily isn't jacks that's the twist

But equally it can't be sams

So who else did she sleep with

Jack was obv desperate to have a Baby hence wedding to make legal

But maybe he knows he isn't her dad as firing blanks and the 3 mc were donor sperm

We know there is a car crash qns explosion

Is Jack dead falling and a stone to the head

Can't seem to find a recap either

Some of the developments seem predictable and then it twists and I’m really not sure where it’s going next, especially seeing Sam looking upset and hitting the bottle.

Obviously both Jen and Jack desperately want a child, but would Jen go so far as to see him marry someone else to make that happen for them both?

Jack grabbed Tash as she was ‘breaking in’ through one of the glass doors, so where was Jen and where had she been beforehand. I got the chills when they were driving down there and she asked ‘You haven’t told anyone?…good’
Tash really is naive. It was all so remote and dark and spooky.

So either Jen and Jack have been in cahoots all along. Tash mysteriously takes off, Jack has evidence they were going to divorce and she was leaving everything behind for a pay off, including Emily. Actually he planned for her disappearance to be of the permanent kind. Jen and Jack grow closer again and reconcile. They have a fresh start with his new business but all the trappings of their previous life, plus the longed for little one.

Or, Jen knows Jack and the way his mind works so well that once he started planting marital woes, impending divorce stories, as evidenced by Hayley too, she agreed to play along with him, whilst intending to double cross him and take Emily for herself.

Or, Jen is actually a good soul and ends up as the white night.

Then there’s Sam to factor in too.

If that was Emily in the back of Jen's car, I swear she's getting darker every week!

I missed Jen being hit , but she seemed ok at the end in the car.

Jen wasn't hit, Tash was.
Emily does indeed seen to be getting darker.
