I’ve been on catch up. As was unable to watch the first few episodes. But am currently catching up. Please feel free to share any opinions, goss and updates here!!

Nothing is off off limits!!

Mafs Hysteria had a great podcast today where they interviews Lara Eyre who has her own Mafs podcast! It was really interesting especially as she said she'd interviewed Nathaniel and had to apologise to him, because she'd been very harsh on him about how he'd treated Ella. Tbf, she didn't see what he'd said about his experience and how he'd been basically manipulated into it ( and also was apparently not allowed to leave ). I'm glad as her blind support for Ella really pissed me off!

I had a moment of glee tonight when the ‘experts’ gave Brad a healthy dose of reality - ‘an over inflated vIew of your emotional intelligence’ or something like that. Ooooo. He didn’t like that but couldn’t say anything because it doesn’t fit his persona he’s created. He had to pretend to take it all on board in the pursuit of enlightenment. Pah! Go Shona!!! She’s awesome.

No more MAFS for me now. I’m going cold turkey!

If any of you have seen Twin flames Brad is very like the cult leader from it.

Did you see the look in Brad's eyes when the experts said that though? It was frightening and I wouldn't have wanted to be alone with him when he gets that look in his eyes.

Thanks @Appalonia for mentioning that podcast. Interesting that Nathaniel wanted to leave after the honeymoon due to Ella's behaviour - assume she became drunk and nasty? Also she went though his phone to check out his exes, so it seems to be a habit.

It got me on to the Lara on Eyre podcasts which are interesting because she has been there and has quite forthright views. I listened to her interview with Bianca and it made her attitude more understandable. She sat down with JJ after the spa day to see if he wanted to end their marriage, but he confirmed he wanted to make a go of their marriage - this was all filmed but not shown. She said JJ had plenty of time to tell her about Ella (4 days) either privately (which she would have preferred) or on camera. She realised he wasn't that into her but wanted him to tell her. She was isolated for those four days before the dinner party. At the dinner party she and JJ were down the other end of the table to Ella and Nathaniel and didn't hear what was being said until Jordan spoke up and at that time she was talking to JJ saying that she thought they should both quit the show as it obviously wasn't working. They also got on quite well during the honeymoon. She now feels that he just lied to her throughout and he didn't come in genuinely wanting a relationship - she also felt they both played the victim at the commitment ceremony and didn't ever show any remorse for how they treated her or Nathaniel. She also said that when she was asked her preferences for a husband she said she wasn't keen on tatoos, wanted someone tall, no false teeth and not a party boy - so basically everything that she didn't want they gave her in the form of JJ! She found the group very cliquey but she's still friends with Adrienne and Erica.

I actually felt sorry for Jordan in the argument with Erica. She didn't let him explain and was raising her voice, then when he raised his voice she went nuts. I think he's autistic and finds it hard to respond and understand other people's feelings. Hit was all set up and stirred by the other men and it often feels like he is being bullied by the group. I know he doesn't help himself by shooting his mouth off but I think he's genuine and honest.

Can't believe Laura (not posh at all) gets away with her bullshit that she did all the work - why was she never challenged. And can't for the life of me work out why Georges - who I like (except for his taste in trousers) - puts up with the vacuous and tacky Peggy. I also think Luke is a nasty piece of work and I hope Jay finds someone a million times kinder who will cherish her.

I will still never understand why JJ - the cardboard gonk - was ever rated as hot by anyone.

I too am glad they called out the narcissist in no uncertain terms. But overall the 'experts' were really dreadful.

Can anyone confirm who is still together now?

Is it just Paul and Tasha (good luck Paul) and Georges and Peggy?

That's exactly how I felt about Jordan too. Poor lad was set up really. Awful.

Erica keeps calling Jordan out within the group rather than privately. She knows his issues and how he would find this difficult and probably not react well. It sometimes seems like she is highlighting how difficult the relationship is for her which may be true, but doing it that way is going to throw him. Some of the men in the group confirmed that a woman tried to kiss him and he pushed her away, but that didn't seem to matter to her as she went on and on about him lying. I can understand why he might want to downplay that - I think I might of said something like "you are an idiot why didn't you tell me everything?" without the huge blow up but I am a lot older than her but not necessarily wiser!

Luke is coming across as quite the nasty piece of work. It seems pretty obvious that he didn't go in genuinely wanting to make it work which is fine if you 'wife' is on the same page but if not it is quite cruel and Jay seemed devastated. He just made himself look like a knob on the couch. He is very invested in exacting revenge on Jordan and won't let it go - which is a massive overreaction to what Jordan actually did and Luke did get caught out lying. Jordan seems to have moved on but is pretty wary of Luke. Apparently "trust has broken down" between Channel 4 and Luke and he wasn't banned from the six month on reunion.

Brad has cult leader written all over him. I am glad Shona got to say her piece. I thought the way Brad reacted to being called out for some pretty nasty behaviour was weird, very accepting and mild, but probably not really accepting it at all. I expect he thinks he is being clever and media savvy but he hasn't done himself any favours in how he came across - dead behind the eyes.

Finally, poor Georges still no "intimacy". Will they ever to the deed? I'm glad they are together but wasn't really a marriage if they never ever have sex. Good on him 'respecting' her but what is she waiting for now?

I suspect when Ok magazine pay for the honeymoon and exclusive rights to the wedding then Daddy Pegg will give George's the key lol. Yep, Jordan is more than OCD and strange that Ch4 were big on the Trans Story they didn't big up those suffering Autistic like issues and not just paint him as sturer.

Erica has now said that she and Jordan are still together. She also said that not all of the 'fight' was shown, but that Luke was laying into Jordan but Jordan wasn't retalliating - probably realising that he might get kicked off.

There was a small group of them doing a live feed where they were saying Arthur just couldn't be bothered with the last reunion.

Which is very on brand for Arthur

I saw a YouTube interview with Luke and he comes across as a real thug who thinks he's going to be famous.

Thanks @OhComeOnFFS I don't know what he thinks he has got going for him? As for his comment about him and Jordan hating each other, that didn't come across at all recently from Jordan's side. Obviously they don't like each other and I think Jordan is watchful and wary and can't let anything go, so if Luke puts up a nasty video, he will respond. In the last show Luke was focussed on stirring the pot with Jordan and not at all on Jay, whereas Jordan was focussing on Erica and defending himself. When Jordan and Erica were on the sofa Luke was muttering away, looking on intensely and voiced being disappointed that Jordan had got away with it. In contrast, when Jay and Luke were on the sofa, Jordan wasn't particularly engaging and it was Erica that spoke up and said something.

I feel very sorry for Jay. She is so nice and deserved a genuine partner not a tryhard.

Hope Luke just disappears into obscurity but maybe not before being battered at this boxing match!

He and Nathaniel aren't hanging on to the bitter end for more air time/potential fame. Probably shows they were there for more genuine reasons than some. Laura Luke JJ etc

The idea has presumably come from MAFS Aus.2022 (or 2021?) when two of the guys met up for a boxing match after the show had finished.

I didn't realise the match was with Jordan @Toptutort me being thick. Fingers crossed it won't go ahead. Can't see anything online about it actually happening, only Luke has challenged him.

I think Luke needs to sit down and have a think about why he is so furious as it is a complete overreaction (guilty feelings?) although it does keep him in the trashy news.

Just listened to a podcast where they refer to Arthur's 'Revenge vest' as oppose to the traditional revenge dress 😂
