I’ve been on catch up. As was unable to watch the first few episodes. But am currently catching up. Please feel free to share any opinions, goss and updates here!!

I knew I'd seen Mark before.....he was on First Dates back in 2017. Not getting good vibes from him, I feel sorry for the guy he's been matched with.

I think worst husband of the seasons winner has been found. What a horrible little, and I do mean little, man. His husband seems so nice and genuine too.

Well Mark seems like an unpleasant little man. The scene where he was pretending to interact with his nephew was funny.

I'm showing my age now but him in his wedding suit was the spitting image of Tattoo from Fantasy Island.

I’m just here to say that Marks buttons were McQueen so I can see why he wanted to wear them so badly. But he should have packed the right shirt!!!

I thought the mcqueen skulls were a bit done these days...but then what would I know...I'm not a high end luxury fashion gal!

I'm obviously no fashion expert as I can't see how a plain black wedding suit signifies death and funerals but wearing multiple skulls doesn't

All this talk of Fantasy Island has given me an ear worm.

Who threatens to cancel their wedding over an item of clothing? I thought the skulls were ghastly and morbid and unsuitable for a wedding (even if they are McQueen!). I can quite well imagine an MN post "My DH wore an outfit with lots of skulls on to our wedding and I am really upset - AIBU?". I thought the suits were well matched as one was light jacket and black trousers and waistcoat and the other black suit and light waistcoat. The "black suit" horror made me smile because he wore black trousers, waistcoat, bowtie and handkerchief - 70%ish black then.

On a personal note, I cannot stand bowties - I think they are naff. Have no idea about what is 'in' or 'out' now though

Going back an episode: I thought Peggy was a bit dim but I am beginning to wonder is she actually is an evil genius! Despite both of them making judgy comments at the dinner she turned it around to poor little old me, no-one likes my husband and I am stuck in the middle. Although I think I remember one of the other husbands pointing out to him that it was both of them. And now when her family comes around she brought up Georges "rimming" talk. I am pretty sure he didn't ask her to do that, but he talked about it with the 'experts' but I may have misremembered. But who brings up the sex conversation in front of parents/family? I hope he calls her out about it next time on the 'sofa'. He has been protective of her throughout but she doesn't seem to have any loyalty to him. I'm no big Georges fan but I felt qute sorry for him. The sister turned up gunning for him and making it plain she does not like him, Peggy brings up some personal stuff that they all made shocked faces about and then his deflated comments about how he just isn't good enough for her.

I think Peggy is really boring. She doesn't appear to have any interests other than her looks, gossip, having a husband treat her like a "princess" and wants children. I might have zero interests in common with Georges but at least he has some. I know who I would rather sit next to at a dinner party.

She’s constantly picking at Georges about things and her cohort also has the knives out.

I’ve seen absolutely nothing from her in terms of what she can bring to the relationship. It’s all about making him do what makes her happy and nothing in return.

I don't quite get how Nathaniel has the right to be so upset with Ella. He didn't want to be paired with her, didn't fancy her and this just gives him a great let out. Of course it's mean to Bianca - it would have just been way more honest if JJ owned up from the outset. Still by sticking it out he gets to pair up with someone else.

I've not been under many illusions about the series but I do think this one is pretty ridiculous. It's all about the drama and not enough about how to make relationships work.

I think bianca is the most genuine and beautiful, if only she had been paired with Thomas or Paul

I wonder how Brad and Nathaniel would have been like as a couple

I often think they should show the prospective brides/grooms photos of their prospective partners, mixed with randomers. Then they should say which ones they definitely do not fancy. Cos I'm sorry, but no amount of nice personality can overcome the fact that they just don't fancy each other. JJ would not have picked Bianca and Nathaniel would not have picked Ella. The experts should acknowledge that physical attraction is a massive part of a relationships success.

I agree with that-at the end of the day, no matter how much you have in common or get on, if you don’t fancy someone or find them sexually attractive then it’s never going to turn romantically; you will just be mates. It’s not a marriage if you don’t want to have sex
