Cant decide how Thursday is going to end. Wouldn’t mind a third series - which I didn’t expect at the beginning of this one.

@MelonsOnSaleAgain SATC2 is one of those films (like Revenge of the Sith) that has to be purged from the canon.

That said, I'm no fan of SATC1, with Big enacting out in real life and in a massively humiliating way Berger's post-it note "I'm sorry, I can't, don't hate me".

I do really like the NYE scene in the first film, where Carrie (in an unusually non-selfish act) treks across to Brooklyn to Miranda's house so she won't be alone.

I've got a feeling we're about to see Aiden act out that post it note too 😂

Yes, they must have planned to have a conclusion in this coming episode (giant clue that it's called The Last Supper) just in case they didn't get renewed.

I truly hope they can find a better narrative thread to a new season. They have a great cast of characters who they've sidelined to give way too much airtime to Che. But there are also just too many characters, they need to find ways to put them into scenes together. The summer in the Hamptons would have been (will be?) fantastic, they could get them all there together for several episodes.

What annoys me is that they will be insistent on keeping Che even though there’s no interaction with the other characters, they are globally disliked but to write them off would be the writers admitting they got it wrong. Which they are too arrogant to do. MPK I’m looking at you.

they need to write Nya off. She’s clearly not got home to film and quite frankly I forget about her until she pops up again.

what I have noticed is they are starting to bring back the lunch/brunch/drinks scenes. The show is much better for it. Perhaps the lack of it in season 1 was because of Covid. But as soon as they started bringing those scenes back the show immediately felt more familiar

seema and LTW can stay. Love them both. Agree grr with the cop out miscarriage storyline. She doesn't want a baby, she shouldn't have one! I think LTW must be younger than the others - the actress might be 50s but she's had some very good work and could pass for 40s. LTW's youngest is only 8 so she could be mid-late 40s.

nya is great but barely in it and isn't friends with anyone apart from Miranda making her surplus to the plot. Nor is seema but at least she has stories.

Signing in! I agree Nya is underused and there are too many characters, it would be fine for Seema to replace Samantha as has been happening at lunch filmings
