Charlotte’s “I was a person before you!” was really powerful. Especially considering how much she wanted to be a wife and a mother. I loved that bit. I’ve got young kids and I love that my life revolves around them RIGHT NOW and I can imagine it easily stays that way unless some serious effort goes into making sure it doesn’t.

I vote Carrie’s moving in alone. Else I’m not really sure what the derail is about. Maybe Miranda will move in instead.

it feels like it’s lining up for Miranda to move in with Carrie. Though only a few episodes back I was convinced Nya and Miranda were to be coupled off. Another version of Miranda has emerged post-Che, Miranda 2.1? Assuming we’ll see the Brit UN lawyer surface again.

Carrie will realise that Aidan is still the same person as he was, just older but less inclined to wear clothes and has questionable jacket choices and they’re still not compatible. He puts value on different things in life and is quite pedestrian in comparison to the privileged and upscale entertainment life Carrie and friends live in the city. She’s no country girl, no matter how capable she now is of poaching any freshly laid eggs. Think he’ll do the dumping though.

Good to hear there’s a S3… AJLT I have stopped just hate watching, I’m back on board not 100% but so much more than at the start of S2.

I like the Nya character - she's underused. They are trying to shoehorn in new (diverse) characters so fast rather than the slow build SATC was.

I think Carrie will keep the new apartment. I assume she has rented the old one out to the jewellery designer, and it will really mark her new start in terms of moving on from Big. The old apartment was part of her grieving.

Yes, Carrie has sold it as Seema (who doesn't do lettings, does she?) was v cross at how little the designer paid for it.

I still can't cope with them all wearing stilettos on the wooden floors of the new place, horrific.

She doesn't, but she made an exception for Ravi. I think it's nice that she sold it to a young woman. It's time she moved on.

I'm still obsessing about last week's episode and have a couple of new notes (pardon if anyone's already mentioned them).

There was that whole lunch scene with Carrie knowing nothing about Aidan now, and googling him, but if he and Steve remained friends all these years, surely Miranda would know at least vaguely what he was up to and where he was living (in the writers' room they said that believed Steve and Aidan had been friends all this time and how great that was...) and Carrie could have just asked her/it would have come up in conversation at some point?

to be fair, carrie has made a career about writing about the sexploits of her and her friends (but probably nicer than Che) so Che would assume carrie knows that is what happens - one talks about one's dates. Hence also why Aiden's ex spoke to her about not mentioning the kids.

I hope there won't be more fake crying from Aidan when they part company (likely?) next episode.

Also Carrie was married for most of last 20 years so even if Miranda had details of Aiden she probably didn't mention it (does she know of the film kiss-if yes even less reason to mention him to Carrie to not tempt her again )

And Carrie only just started dating now after big's death so also unlikely to want to tactlessly mention Aiden unless Carrie asks.

So Carrie would just google him and not ask Miranda.

I think Carrie will move in with Aiden but season three will be the slow motion car crash of their relationship once his kids become a reality for Carrie.

I think Che will stay because the writers like the idea that they’re teaching all of us about diversity and gender fluidity.

I’m loving seeing a more sensitive side of Anthony and his boyfriend is so gorgeous. I don’t understand the point of the miscarriage story - it’s not like she was trying for a baby and presumably things will just carry on as normal.

Every Last. Supper features a Judas. Che can waive her 30 pieces of comedy club silver in Miranda's face. Can't wait for the Holy Ghosted Friend, Samantha, to swoop in and deliver us all from this evil! I'd love her put a protective arm around emerging Miranda 1.0 and to tell Che to fuck. right off.

Yeah, I agree. I actually think a clipped “I shoulda been there. I have to go.” would have been more powerful.

Also hate to think about the guilt Aidan’s ex would have in the circs - the kid ran off from her house, after all!

Can we keep Rock? I like Rock. Yes, Charlotte has bratty kids but, if you were to vote anyone as most likely to raise bratty kids, it would be her. (Love Charlotte, but I think her parenting will have been very helicopter!)

Carrie's 'AJLT I was worried etc' Not about Aidan or his son and their troubles, but about herself and what it might mean for her new relationship. Which IMO is more of the selfishness and self absorbed behaviour we're used to seeing from Carrie.
