That's interesting because in the clips I've seen she looks like she's playing her usual role - the grimacing angst ridden wife as in Love Actually. Does she do more than that?

I've worked out the cringe with Alison. It's because they've toned her down, she's lost her sparkle by being on best behaviour

Yeah this gig doesn't suit her - she's at her best when she's being outrageous and nuts. This is too staid for her.

I'm sad about Richard E Grant. How to Get Ahead in Advertising is one of my favourite films of all time.

I wondered about that. I mean, how it’s decided whether a film is British? I know Banshees has British and US production companies, a British writer/director (second generation Irish) - but otherwise it’s Irish surely.

Maybe she's hiding a bad self tan?!

It mostly has to do with funding, which in this case was mainly from Film 4, a British organisation.

I try not to be negative, but good lord Alison H is awful!!!
She just skips over answers and doesn't appear to be listening at all. She is embarrassing. She is speaking in meaningless platitudes, the established actors are baffled

I'm embarrassed for Allison Hammond - she is not right for this. And the 'rap' was appalling.
