What's your favourite episode of Ghosts?

Mine is the episode where it's the Lunar eclipse and Alison and Mike have the neighbours round for dinner, it's total comedy genius. Everyone talking around the dinner table while the ghosts dance round it chanting about the 'wondrous moon' Mary: 'stew update, all the water has turned to clouds' and when the ghosts are watching Friends and Kitty declares 'I'm Phoebe, Lady Button is Monica and the Captain is Ross'

I love the plague pit people 😅 especially the one with the teeth. It's funny when they all become obsessed with Thomas

i like the one where Kitty is talking about her sister - such a sad story but the kindness of the other ghosts to her is sweet. And the Christmas one where Julian is playing with the baby. The years Christmas show was brilliant, love the plaguers audience reactions. Such a great show. I like the podcast too.

I watched the blooper compilations on YouTube; well worth a look for 'Ghosts' fans.

The episode with the 'sorry song' is one of my favs... makes me and my son giggle a lot. Pats musical timing and Thomas unexpected Rap. Brilliant

I've only just discovered that Humphrey and robin are played by the same actor.

And that all the ghosts also play the plague people. It's brilliant spotting them in different characters. They look so different. I mean..I know that's the thing about actors. Doh. But still. V clever!

Yes! I love that bit! She is wonderfully creepy. 😀

I just love how the characters are portrayed to fit with the time they were alive. Thomas is such a cliche of the romantic poet and Julian is brilliant as a Tory MP from the 90s when all the sleaze was around.

I wasn’t sure about the Captain at first but he has really grown on me and is one of my favourites now.

I love the plague people and their obsession with Thomas and I love anything that Pat does, he's my absolute fave.

The actor that plays him, Jim Howick is also brilliant in Sex Education.

There no Zumba today makes me laugh my head off every time I watch the clip. Such a lovely, visual hug of a show.

I love the Thomas Thorne Affair. First time we watched it we had to pause every minute to calm down from laughing so much. It took forever to watch but is such a wonderful episode, clever, funny and sad.
We love all the episodes though and find there is a quote for every occasion.

The first two episodes are just wonderful, as someone else says, everyone is so sure of their characters right from the start. Best line in all four series is there, about starting a guerrilla war - Robin: “Gorilla always win.”

But the house party is great for Pat shouting “naff off, you wazzock!” at the Captain. And yes, any episode where the Captain is in his element.

One of my fav bits is the captain and kitty in the garden. The captain is so regimental in all he does and kitty takes delight in every little thing she sees.
Lying on the grass pointing out figures in the clouds.
Kitty just enjoying the moment,while the captain gets anxious!

The Christmas episode where Alison wants to sing carol's at the piano and they all come together. 🥲

Robin telling Pat that "you'll remember them here', touching his heart.

So many funny moments and sad moments too.

My absolute favourite scene from all the series is the plague ghosts making suggestions to Thomas for words rhyming with Alison. The little argument at the end regarding who came up with talisman is just so perfectly done.

This is mine too, really made me laugh. Great to see so many different suggestions of episodes, shows how good this series is!

The Christmas one with Mike's family, just for Alison and the ghosts singing at the piano and the gifts for the ghosts. Moonah ston is brilliant too! But it is just fantastic in general.

I couldn't believe it when I discovered he was Gerard in Peep Show! He's like a different person altogether in Ghosts.

I take it we are all a bit in love with the Captain yes?

I can't pick a favourite episode, they're all so funny and well observed.

Has anyone watched the US series? We also enjoyed that.

Too many to choose! I think the first couple are really special. But the one with the little girls' birthday where Mike pulls it out of the bag is ace. And I like the lesbian wedding where Lady B is really disapproving but comes around when Humphrey gives her a reality check.

WHAT?!! Pat is Gerard from Peep Show?! Seriously?!

I wish they'd called Pat's grandson Rick or Ricky short for Patrick though. You can't call a 21st century baby Pat, that's just child abuse.
