Are we ready for a bit more lusting over Phil and Kevin (and a bit of bitching about houses too)?

2 minutes to go. Place your bets on the type of muppets they have on this week.......

Me too expat. But he has lots of children. (Not that one precludes the other, but you know what I mean).

she has lost her looks!

tiredemma · 06/02/2008 21:46

Bleugh.

My eyes, my eyes.

Hulababy · 06/02/2008 21:46

Have no probem with a 400k mortgage IF the house is worth more than that; this doesn't sound likely listening to her.

And taking over 100k of her dad's pension/retirement - how will they pay it back?

Olihan · 06/02/2008 21:46

moodlum, do you really expect anything else from someone with such terrible taste in houses? She's too far gone even for Cod to sort out.

Her dad was mad enough to offer to loan her his pension?!

I can see now, she has an inherited form of insanity.

tiredemma · 06/02/2008 21:46

She has lost her mind

Botbot · 06/02/2008 21:47

Now what that staircase needs is gargoyles.

About 23 of them.

At four hundred quid each.

Botbot · 06/02/2008 21:47

Fuck me, there's one looking at a laptop!

expatinscotland · 06/02/2008 21:48

SALVAGE YARD.

ARCHITECT.

Hello?!

PaulaYatesbiggestFan · 06/02/2008 21:48

the main road adds the je ne sais quoi to the whole disney theme

Alambil · 06/02/2008 21:48

the gargoyles are grotesque!

tiredemma · 06/02/2008 21:49

'mad project'

That is exactly what it is.

LyraSilvertongue · 06/02/2008 21:49

How she hoped to project manage the build with a full time job and two children to look after I'll never know.

moodlumthehoodlum · 06/02/2008 21:49

Olihan - you're right. Nothing so far has demonstrated her sense of style (with the exceptions of the gargoyles).

pooka · 06/02/2008 21:50

Good god they are mad. It's a folly, a ridiculous folly.

And the traffic noise??? Lovely.

Why don't they spend the massive amount they're spending and buy something authentic and real.

LyraSilvertongue · 06/02/2008 21:50

Do you think they'll find this thread on Google? I wouldn't like to read it if I were them.

Olihan · 06/02/2008 21:50

No, expat. Because that would cost MONEY and they don't have money to waste on authentic gothic artefacts or architects. Doing it all yourself from scratch is far cheaper. Really, have some sense .

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 06/02/2008 21:50

probably because then they'd have to raid her father's pension to heat the fucking real thing, pooka!

i've learned this the hard way .

pooka · 06/02/2008 21:51

It's beautiful. What a fantastic idea. Love the gargoyle with laptop. How original and quirky.

Just in case they visit......

DaDaDa · 06/02/2008 21:52

I suppose you have to admire their chutzpah.

£10 on Kev saying that in his spiel.

pooka · 06/02/2008 21:52

That's true expat! But the way they're going would surely be cheaper to just put bundles of £10 notes on a fire to keep warm.

Botbot · 06/02/2008 21:53

Wasn't it supposed to have a tower?

tiredemma · 06/02/2008 21:53

Ha ha ha- Im loving his commentary on it. Hilarious.
