Yes I think so too. Catherine struggles to believe Ryan isn’t like his father in some ways she struggles to love him unconditionally

maybe they can’t fit it all in to two episodes and we have been led to believe this is the last series but the shock ending is that it’s not (wishful thinking)

I hope Ann kills TLR. I would hate Ryan having to kill his own father, or if Catherine kills him, having to live with the fact that his grandmother killed his father, (scumbag though he is) its just so tragic and messy.

I still think it would be great if Joyce could kill Tommy. Someone totally unexpected.

Still hasn’t come to light why Joyce looked interested when Catherine was looking up Joanna’s drug swab results last week

Ricos was where TLR was to pick up his disguise. (The shop is actually on a street in Bolton, rather than Leeds! So it was strange to see him cycle off into a different town at the end.)

It was so she would recognise Joanna's name when her parents came in to report her missing. She was just being nosey at the time but it was included so Joanna's parents would be taken seriously more quickly than usual and CC would be notified.

Regarding the two little daughters: The older one seems completely un-fazed by the PE teacher's treatment of Jo. I did wonder whether Jo might be her step mum. And further, whether Jo was an already pregnant "troubled teen" that PE teacher latched on to (as PP described above is a pattern he is now repeating with Ryan) and took her on as step mum to his daughter, with the promise to bring up Jo's daughter, Poppy, as his own. But he isn't doing so in a good way, because he's cold towards Poppy, and Poppy is clearly scared of him, hence the coat kept on - a subconscious ready to flee/protective instinct, maybe.

@Ridemeginger I like that theory, I think you could be onto something.

I love JN as he such a huge advocate for the type 1 community. He is utterly chilling as TLR but it is somewhat ruined for me as I keep thinking “I wonder what his blood glucose is doing now”…
