I thought Catherine and Richard split because Catherine took on Ryan and Richard didn’t want him.

I suppose the two goons could’ve just made up a fake language so they could get Faisal into a room. I wonder if Faisal will go down for the drugs and Neckbeard for the murder. Given the stats of how 2 women a week are murdered by their partner, I suspect police would look first at Neckbeard given what Jo’s parents say about him, the fridge, possibly what his youngest girl might say. Good question on what he’ll do with Jo’s body. Imagine his prints and DNA are all over that suitcase.

Yeah I don't think they can speak another language, just put on enough to get past the woman working behind the counter at the pharmacy. Otherwise they would have spoken it in the warehouse scene I think??

I think Faisal will get away with it as Neckbeard shall try to hide his wife body as he knows he has been stitched up

I definitely saw the crash between Faisal and Neckbeard as deliberate. It was orchestrated by Faisal as a legitimate way for Neckbeard to have his contact details.

It wouldn't explain Joanna having Faisal's details though.

I do think that Rob came across as genuine about Joanna missing. And I think the police might pick up on that.

I don’t think Becky was gang raped if that was what a previous Poster was implying as otherwise CC could not be sure Ryan was TLR’s and I don’t believe they have ever done a DNA test.

Question: why do we think when neckbeard spotted the suitcase and clearly noticed something was off, did he not mention it to the officer?

We've mentioned before that details aren't included for nothing. So that massive building Darius bought is likely to turn up again with its asbestos roof.

I'd like to point out that while asbestos rooves aren't harmful if undisturbed (and death by asbestos would be a very long term storyline) however they are fragile and so if someone went on the roof they would be very likely to fall through and meet a sticky end.

He wants to find her (alive) himself - he doesn't want the police or anyone else official involved because he's such a vile specimen. He saw that the suitcase was out of place (or not theirs?) and wanted to check it out himself privately first, without a police audience. I don't think he was expecting her to be in it though!

That was a bit of a James Bond audition wasn’t it, but seeing TLR jumping out of plane a la HRH The Queen and Johnson will be too far fetched for me.

The escape was farcical but probably realistic, so many incompetent security officers bumbling around.

I think that repellent teacher creature is a great actor, he’s so vile and believable. I think he’ll be stitched up for his wife’s murder and Faisal will get away with it.

I know what you mean - these violent men can be very attractive (perhaps because it's an extreme form of "maleness" and gets the ole oestrogen dancing about with the adrenaline), but I've met a couple of them IRL (many years ago)and they are bliddy terrifying.

I'm just re-watching - Neckbeard's house is full of those decorative thingies - "Calm", "Kindness" etc.

I think Richard and TLR are definitely going to end up dead.

The worst ending for Catherine would be Claire dying, especially as they remain unreconciled.

I wonder if Alison has been reintroduced only so she can be murdered. If TLR heads for Catherine's house she is the person most likely to be there at the moment. If she is bending over that car, she could be mistaken for Claire from the back. Maybe that's why she mentioned doing her own highlights?

It would be hilarious and fantastic if TLR rocked up at Catherine's house only to have the world's worst misfortune in encountering the one woman in Yorkshire who has already killed a serial killer. Right when she's holding a big wrench too. She could thwack him and get on with that alternator and then they'd have 1hr and 50mins on the woes of the PE teacher, and Joyce wandering around Hebden Bridge trying to find a £2000 leaving gift for an absolute ballbreaker.

Ryan keeps parroting 'revenge is a dish best served cold.'. Perhaps daddy will be psycho enough to grab him, take him to horrible PE teacher's house and say, 'Right son, kill him before we run off to Spain together for a life of skydiving and bungee jumping.' They'll try to put the body in that suitcase only to find there isn't enough room.

The detective who searched neck beards home was very strange.

I also thought this. He sounded odd on the phone. Then when he asked to look around he didn't do a very thorough job. Didn't notice the phone under the kitchen counter. And when they were standing in the garage, that didn't have a lot of other stuff in it, I thought he might have asked Rob what was in the suitcase. Presumably he was briefed by Catherine that Rob was very controlling, bad tempered etc. And he'd clocked the locks in the kitchen. And the suitcase was big enough for a body ...

I think @singleandwingingit that the suitcase is the Hepworths - that would explain why his DNA is all over it. If it isn’t his then he is screwed.

I think Faisal will get done for murder (Jo’s calls to him and messages) and Rob will get
Done for unlawfully preventing a burial - and the girls will go and live with Jo’s parents.

Isn’t SW just a brilliant writer? Every character is believable (apart from CC not calling school to check he had arrived and her lapse of judgment in letting Ryan walk home from school alone in series 1)…but flawed.

CC is amazing as a police officer - but she can’t love her grandson unconditionally, slept with Richard knowing he was married; Richard - couldn’t agree to keep Ryan; Claire - v kind hearted but a bit of a blabber mouth and naive. And with chronic addiction issues.
