I didn't care much for her at first but I think she might turn out to be a good character.

Yes I did find her quite abrasive and a bit disproving? Judgemental even.
Perhaps its not how she is and her character development will be interesting

Anyone else notice that people are bringing Cyril food (complete with detailed cooking instructions) because they assume he can't possibly manage with his wife being away - his fridge was full of similar donations in boxes - and then he turns out to be a whizz in the kitchen with the eggs Benedict?😂

It’s been sad to watch what Lucille and Cyril have been going through. However, when they were happy they seemed too perfect, too good to be true. I’m not at all surprised that Cyril can whip up a couple of perfect, fluffy eggs Benedict.

I didn't find them perfect, to me they've always seemed cold and stilted as a couple. But I think now that this is perhaps down to how Lucille's character was written. They were always preparing her to demonstrate the effects of racism and the issues faced at that time. I can see why but it's a bit of a shame because I don't think her character has been particularly well developed in other areas.

I think it doesn’t help that their marriage was during the covid filming and they were always so far apart. I remember wondering how she ever got pregnant when they’re never within metres of each other
