Looks like Love Island producers have announced that participants' social media will be locked whilst the programme airs. (Looking for reliable source, so far I can only find tabloid stories).
I hope it's true, I think it's needed.

Ron is really not all that so it's surprising girls are fighting for him. It's going to go to his head and it seems he will wreck things with Lana. He was lucky to have her.

I think one of the main phrases this year is referring to eggs in a basket

Last year was 'reciprocated', half of them couldn't pronounce it

Aaron should make a bit of an effort with Lana instead of talking about Ron at that breakfast and in bed with hood up.
Think Ellie is playing along with Will to win as long as she nicest him and not batching behind his back to the girls.
I actually like Zara she adds but excitement to show it was boring tonight.

Not RTFT and new on the Telly Addicts page. I heard 'I have so many eggs in her/his basket' on the Australian Love Island last year. Also kept hearing the Aussies say 'I'm gassed' a lot too. The Brits have picked that up too. It's bloody annoying.

Not sure if anyone has said this (and apologies if they have, I will have a proper read through this thread tomorrow,) but I am struggling to 'buy' the romance between Jessie (the Aussie lass) and Will.

If it's genuine/if she's genuine (and I hope she is!) then that's wonderful, but I am just struggling to believe it's authentic. For him maybe, but for her? Really? I just don't see a young woman like Jessie going for someone like Will. Time will tell............

I think Spencer and Olivia look lovely together. I'm interested to see how Zara behaves towards her if she doesn't perceive her as a threat any longer.

Zara is ridiculously possessive - I can't imagine how draining that would be in a relationship.

Shaq is a bit of a loose cannon I think. I'd like him if he hadn't had a pop at Haris. He comes across so chilled but I reckon he goes from 0-100 over the slightest thing. Massive turn off for me.

What's with Ron and the scrunching of his nose? Has someone told him it's cute or is his sunburn itching 🤔

I don't think she seems into Spencer but maybe that's because she's a slow burner as she says. I still feel like she thinks Tom and her have unfinished business.

Oh she definitely still likes Tom and is kicking herself she didn't 'claim' him when she had the chance. Spencer is better looking imo though. I do hope he's not a bore and he loses the nerves and his leg stops twitching

Spencer's teeth are very distracting...they're a bit large...wonder if his original teeth were that size?

Bit of a slow episode but I like that Ellie is at least mixing things up - although I really don't get the Ron attraction. He seems like a little boy... I keep thinking he's about 5ft 6 as he looks small but google tells me he is 5ft 11 @😂

not buying Will and Jessie. She knows that she can potentially go all the way to the end with Will as he's popular with the public and will stick with her no matter what, so it's a genius move really.

If Jessie can keep up the pretence for the whole series, she deserves the money imo. Will is going to be pawing her 24/7 and she's going to need major acting skills if she's not really into him.

Zara is awful always got that bitch look on her face and talks aggressively shows she was putting on an act day one she's gone from downtown Abby to top boy in a matter of hours!!
Plus she's nothing without that slap and hair extension.
I actually dislike Tanya wish shaq would branch out. She has no chat and looks like a 12 year old it's strange.

I’d say Tanya was shocked to be in the bottom three. She is pretty when not wearing the eyelashes, but she looks little a little girl and when she’s flirting/in bed, it is uncomfortable to watch.

I don’t see why Olivia is being compared to Maura. Maura was funny!

Rubbish...Tanya is far more interesting than many of the other girls. Lana always looks worried that Ron will go off her - which he will. What else has she said or done that's interesting?... Olivia cries everyday (probably cos she's not bringing all the boys as she thought she would)...Tanyel 😴
Many of the girls there are "nothing" without their fake tan, extensions and lip injections. So not sure why you're singling out Zara.
And there's nothing wrong with sounding "Top boy". She's from North lOndon. I'm sure you sound nothing like downtown abbey yourself

Lana needs to branch out . She is annoying AF. She has only known Ron for a week or so but acts as though they are married.

Shaq obviously likes Tanya which is why he stayed despite her being in the bottom three.
At the moment they both seem happy . This could change after Casa Amor though..

Tom looked relieved not to be stuck with Olivia. He looks happy with Zara. She is probably the type of woman that he has always been attracted to but hasn’t had the courage to approach .

Kai and Tanyel look good together but I think that Tanyel will get bored

Ellie seems to be interesting . Ron really things he is hot stuff . All these attractive women after him

Co sign on everything you said. Tom clearly likes (or at least is very attracted to) Zara. He likes what he sees and hears - Top boy , aggressive or whatever, and Olivia and the rest just need to get over it.
I like Tom though, I don't think I've heard him say anything bad about anyone and he was uncomfortable when Zara and Olivia were fighting over him when the other guys would have loved the attention and egged them on. He seems decent (sadly probably why he's being called boring )

Fiat 500 girls would rather vote for a Gemma/Luca or Ron/Lana couple rather than a more authentic couple like Indiyah/Dami and Tanya/Shaq.

I find it really weird.

Having said that, I think Ron and Lana could do well if he doesn't fuck it up. I quite like him (Lana less so for sucking up to Olivia) but she's ok.
