I do too actually, I felt really sad last night with the way that the bridezilla storyline was unfolding last night. It's as if Trixie hasn't matured at all since Tom.

Has the young nun gone for good? I really liked her especially her friendship with Nancy.

The lying nun was ludicrous, both nuns and nurses can not be liars ffs 🙄 I'm a nurse and being honest comes with the territory. Surely the minute the lie came to light eyes of been shipped back to the motherhouse.

Trixie bring bridzilla also annoyed me, let poor Mathew have his golf clubs!

Oh poor Lucille, I really wanted to feel sorry for her but I just can't bear her. I wish she would get written out and replaced by another Chummy or Barbara type who cheerfully gets on with things.

I don't think Trixie is being a bridezilla at all- this was a time when class and social convention and expectations were still clinging on, especially among the Upper classes. Matthew is upper class, Trixie is middle, possibly upper middle class, and certain things would be expected from a wedding like theirs. Presumably a lot if rich and we'll connected people will be there, possibly even a reporter. She'll be wanting to make sure everything is right by the standards at the time. I imagine it's rather stressful!

Look at Chummy's mother's reaction to her mixed class wedding and her choice to get married in the local church. She didn't even approve of her choice to go into nursing, and especially not in an area like Poplar.

Lucille was always so sunny so it is pure rotten watching her be sad. But I liked her being sunny.

See, I wish it wasn’t Lucille they have given this story too. When she first started, she got given racist stuff, and she brushed through and came out stronger.

I assume it’s to give a cover story for the actress who is leaving? I’d have preferred if they could have had her return home for her sister’s wedding.

Such a shame if she has gone.

I had a thought about the Matthew- Nancy thing last night. When Nancy produced the expensive dress for her daughter and Trixie commented that it was from "an expensive little boutique" she said that she knew that because Matthew had recently bought something there for his baby. Was this just a hint that Nancy is about to get into financial difficulties or could it be that Matthew is buying presents for her/her daughter for some reason??

Many many years ago I worked in a benefits office. We all used to snigger when scaffolders frequently came in having been laid off by a firm called Rapid Erections. We didn't laugh at them obviously just the name.
