Pottery Throw down is BACK!

Hello all GPTD fans the next series has been announced and will start on 8th January at 7:45. It’s a Sunday night and it’s on Channel 4 as usual.

Festive Pottery Throw Down is on Christmas Day too. James Fleet, Jamie Laing, Jenny Eclair and Sunetra Sarker are the celebrities taking part this year.

I fecking hate slab building.

I think most potters throw in part without actually looking, it helps with getting nice even walls (and stops you getting distracted).

I thought Fliss' were the ones that looked most like bowls 😆🙄

There are always so many interesting techniques in the decoration, think this is my favourite bit

I like the look of the dog with a rug and the spaceship is potentially amazing

I love the dog, I actually quite like the green decoration but apparently it will turn out black.

I’ve had to peep then retreat. I’ve been called in and missed that and Skidding On Slippy Stuff. I’m no going to spoil my own viewing though, so enjoy the potterers and hopefully I’ll get a watch of it in the early hours 😊

That cat is amazing. So many wonderful ideas.

The TV and the Wave just slightly below the incredible standard of the others imo.

I think the headless dancers one will probably go home. Sorry I'm rubbish at names.

I did think the Wave was quite ugly. I liked the beehive. Both big pieces but beehive definitely better.
