William "screamed and shouted" at Harry.

1000 replies

felulageller · 15/12/2022 10:37

Ep5.
So that's the big accusation we've been waiting for.

Then a denial that he, Harry, denied William had bullied him and MM.

Denying that you denied it so implying it was true that William was bullying them?

Never liked William anyway. Hope he's never King.

@IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 but its not about you ? You are making assumptions about Meghan as much as anyone else by saying its her culture ,

Cornettoninja · 15/12/2022 18:19

MyMumSaysALot · 15/12/2022 18:13

Right, considering the USA has a Royal Family dating back centuries and has a history of colonization and all those castles their Royals live in.

Right-O. The USA is sooo backward compared to Britain. Whatever you say. 🙄

I mean you’re comparing a country with a history barely 250 years old to a country that goes back ten times that? (And has hardly covered themselves in glory in that 250yrs)

BedTaker · 15/12/2022 18:19

IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 · 15/12/2022 18:12

Because he was there at time.

But why would he be involved in an unofficial exchange of vows at all?

Also, he has denied marrying them 3 days before. So was he there or not?

IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 · 15/12/2022 18:19

BedTaker · 15/12/2022 18:16

@IAmWomanHearMeRoar1

Can I just get straight your argument: you are saying that Meghan Markle, marrying the heir to the British throne in a wedding held at a Royal castle, paid for by the public and watched by millions of people worldwide, wouldn't have realised that she would have to clarify the statement 'we actually got married 3 days before, the Archbishop of Cantebury married us in private'?

And to question this is racism?

That's quite the reach.

Yes.

And no I am not saying it is racism, but for one vicious poster in particular to keep saying I am 'lying' and am "speaking nonsense" when I say some cultures have two ceremonies, is racist when you are saying my culture is a 'lie' and 'nonsense'. That, is racist.

LightHousePanda · 15/12/2022 18:20

Of course the UK is anglocentric. That's a weird insult. I haven't been to a country where they centre another culture. It doesn't mean they can't understand others or aren't open to them. Obviously no one knows all cultural practices so sometimes you have to explain them to others.

It is the culture in America.

Why wouldn't he be? It's only an unofficial exchange of vows.

He denied he legally married them, not that a ceremony was held.

healthadvice123 · 15/12/2022 18:22

@IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 since when ? As i know a far few americans who don't say this

My sister and I had a horrible row one Christmas, over whether to put butter in the mashed carrot and swede or not. How much will netflix pay for the exclusive? ( If you're reading this Sun reporters, I take cash, cheers)

Only one year?

Every Christmas me, my mum & dsis having screaming matches over the roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese. Every bloody year.

BelenaConhamHarter · 15/12/2022 18:22

I've no plan to watch any of this documentary, the MN threads it generates are perfectly entertaining without.

In ten years time when Archewell have done as much for humanity as the Gates Foundation, we'll all look like bitter fools.

Or maybe that won't happen, who knows.

AngelaBrazilNuts · 15/12/2022 18:23

IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 · 15/12/2022 17:50

Yes, and? People do consider exchange of vows 'married', even if not legally.

And every day on here, there is a thread warning women that this is not a wedding and they have no legal protection.

She wanted everyone to infer it was a wedding and hadn't reckoned on the fact that 'Ol Archbishop Welby suddenly cottoned on to the fact that if this bollocks were allowed to stand, he and his crozier would be in very deep shit indeed.

If it wasn't for that, then that lie-and I imagine Megan Markle well knows the difference between a legal wedding and some mystical, magical vow ceremony.

Why did she spout this shite-probably because she is spinning the line that their love is 'speshul' and doesn't need formalities of a legal wedding ceremony-it's just a piece of boring old paper.

That said, her face would have been the picture of a slapped arse if Harry had said,'let's not bother with the big legal wedding, let's run away barefoot and in ripped jeans as we have already proclaimed our love in front of Mr Welby. We don't need that piece of paper'

Somehow, I think the legal wedding and the titles, wealth and status it conferred on her would have been top priority.

Esquire3 · 15/12/2022 18:23

It's a pity William didn't give Harry a good bitch slap too!!

IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 · 15/12/2022 18:23

That they got married before their marriage is one thing that i can think of.

Except it's not.

IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 · 15/12/2022 18:22

It’s fairly common to have rehearsal before hand. It’s not an unofficial marriage. It’s a practice. I did the same in England i20 years ago, with the priest who was marrying us.

They were preparing to Marry in front of the world. It’s not unusual to have a practice.

BedTaker · 15/12/2022 18:25

Also, it's a bit strange to say 'all black people have 2 weddings' isn't it?

'Black' is not one homogenous culture. There are lots of different customs and conventions around marriage, for both white and black people across the world.

@IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 You actually have no idea what Meghan meant, whether this 'secret wedding' took place at all, or what Meghan did or didn't know about British marriage custom. Do you?

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 15/12/2022 18:25

On two separate occasions, as a child, I

  1. Made posters advertising my brother for sale and stuck them up around the village.
  1. Actually tried to put toddler DBro in the garden bin.

We get on really well now and laugh about it (especially now we both have bickering DC)

Rehearsal is not the same as an unofficial ceremony. They are two different things, as well.

Two siblings shouting at each other and one of them bellyaching about it.

Really? Welcome to family life.

I never said "all" black people have 2 weddings.

There are lots of different customs and conventions around marriage, for both white and black people across the world.

Which has been the ENTIRE POINT of all my posts! Only posters on here cannot conceive of the fact there are different customs and conventions around marriage. I, was called a liar, and told I was speaking nonsense for making THIS VERY POINT.

healthadvice123 · 15/12/2022 18:28

@Itsthewhitehat a rehearsal is just that though and described as a rehearsal

Boohisspiss · 15/12/2022 18:28

Honestly felt very sorry for Megan when the tabloids starting ripping her a new one. She gets up at 5am and writes emails, so she’s no lazy, she is singled out for all the expensive clothes she buys (no mention of any other royals ridiculous spending), she has the audacity to hold her baby bump in public and touch her husband.
The problem is really started disliking BOTH of them when it came from their own mouths. They never take any responsibility for some obvious bad decisions, not do they realise that 99.9% of the population have problems but no privilege.

BelenaConhamHarter · 15/12/2022 18:28

@SallyLockheart

You've clearly never actually eaten swede and carrot mashed together have you?

goes to buy a swede and someanchor

No, you are not getting it. A rehearsal is different again.
