I swing from having some semblance of sympathy for them and then none at all.

I've just finished episode 5, and all it seems to be about is the fact the RF didn't do enough to protect them from the horrid things that were being said about them, in the press and on SM. Then on their last week M says how surprised she was about everyone being really nice on her social engagements and that people didn't want them to leave. It does beg the question about how did she not already realise this, where are her advisors, even politicians know how well liked they are in reality, maybe head down and ignore is the way to go as the general public don't actually agree with the media.

Again she mentions about not wearing colour, to blend into the background, but about 15 minutes earlier there's a clip of her on a social engagement (not the one with H in his red uniform), wearing red. I know producers miss things but this almost seems like Netflix, or whoever produced this are actually wanting to stir things up for ratings.

I'm still not buying the woe is me though. As a pp said, they are happily married, have 2 healthy children and won't ever have to worry about money. I think it's time they put this to bed, they've told their story, start afresh and move on.

I think they’re in danger of over exposure. Day in day out for the last two years they’ve been headline news. It will fizzle out in the same way as pop stars are huge one year and almost forgotten about the next. People get bored and move on to something else. Even the Kardashian’s aren’t as compelling as they once were. (I’ve never watched them but nor have I watched this). They’ll get old and so will their tales of woe. wrt Stately Homes, where I learned a lot about terrible family dynamics (including my own), I do get narcissism vibes off some reported Meghan actions - and I say this knowing that 'she's a narcissist' is the most over-used thing ever, especially in relation to MM. I don't know if she'd be clinically diagnosed as one as we're just gossiping about her, but some of her behaviour has strong narcy hallmarks.

How many people actually do scream at each other? I know it's often asserted, but usually people only mean they shouted. It takes a lot of effort and, for obvious reasons, even more so for men. I just don't believe it.

With respect, IamWoman, you can't really speak for the entirety of black and mixed race people. And it does seem as if Meghan interprets some things as due to race - such as the lack of a fitting title for Archie - which were categorically and demonstrably not to do with race.

I was one of Meghan's many many fans until about a year after the wedding, when her disingenuous side came to light.
