William "screamed and shouted" at Harry.

Ep5.
So that's the big accusation we've been waiting for.

Then a denial that he, Harry, denied William had bullied him and MM.

Denying that you denied it so implying it was true that William was bullying them?

Never liked William anyway. Hope he's never King.

Are you on personal terms with every single black and mixed race person?! 🙄

👏🏼

Who me ?

MyPurpleHeart · 15/12/2022 16:00

Most things they say have been proven to be false. They get caught out in lies time after time. Meghan talks absolute shite and says its okay because its 'her truth'. Its so boring now

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 15/12/2022 12:44

@skippy67 : Harry said: 'It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me'

He must have been beside himself with fear when he was at Sandhurst. Cadets get shouted at all the time.

I swing from having some semblance of sympathy for them and then none at all.

I've just finished episode 5, and all it seems to be about is the fact the RF didn't do enough to protect them from the horrid things that were being said about them, in the press and on SM. Then on their last week M says how surprised she was about everyone being really nice on her social engagements and that people didn't want them to leave. It does beg the question about how did she not already realise this, where are her advisors, even politicians know how well liked they are in reality, maybe head down and ignore is the way to go as the general public don't actually agree with the media.

Again she mentions about not wearing colour, to blend into the background, but about 15 minutes earlier there's a clip of her on a social engagement (not the one with H in his red uniform), wearing red. I know producers miss things but this almost seems like Netflix, or whoever produced this are actually wanting to stir things up for ratings.

I'm still not buying the woe is me though. As a pp said, they are happily married, have 2 healthy children and won't ever have to worry about money. I think it's time they put this to bed, they've told their story, start afresh and move on.

There was a photo of her at a church service in a green dress too.

britsabroad · 15/12/2022 15:53

@IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 not sure what crazy crack you've been spoken. How dare you call me racist? I'm a mixed race woman. I have one white parent and one black parent. I'm not white or black. I'm mixed race. I find it offensive when some idiot like you ignores my heritage and says I'm black.

Why are you gaslighting me? I did not call you racist. You must be on crazy crack to lie like that. To most mixed-race people, we are black, and people see us as black. This is a fundamental truth.

UniversalAunt · 15/12/2022 16:01

Harry, who saw active service in Afghanistan where the Taliban allegedly had a bounty in his head, is intimated & shocked that his own brother screamed & shouted at him, & his father said things to him that he did not agree with. Meanwhile Gma sat, said nothing & let this happen?

This sticks as a grievance x many years later & must be told to a global audience. Meh!

FancyFanny · 15/12/2022 16:02

I'd shout at Harry if he was my brother! Heated family arguments are commonplace and it's not the same as bullying.

IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 · 15/12/2022 16:02

Butitsnotfunnyisititsserious · 15/12/2022 15:58

That's why they've done it. It's cowardly to make these claims knowing they can't respond.

Absolute bullshit this 'they can't respond' lie. The CAN and they HAVE in the past made statements about family issues. The can choose to respond or not respond. But saying they have absolutely no choice and can't respond is a massive lie.

Livelovebehappy · 15/12/2022 16:02

Really fed up of the ‘blah, blah, blah’ racist accusation which always crops up when discussing Harry and Meghan. People don’t like her. She’s not likeable. She lies. She’s petty. She’s hypocritical. People use the race card to try shut down the fact that people don’t like her for reasons other than the colour of her skin. If I didn’t like her for the colour of her skin, then I would have disliked her from the off. I didn’t. I thought they were brave and agreed fully with their decision to leave the RF for ‘privacy’. I liked and admired them both. But since they started selling stories on the back of the RF, after saying they wanted a private life away from the media, I just think they’re attention seeking and money grabbing.

Lesserspottedmama · 15/12/2022 16:02

Fleabigg · 15/12/2022 15:39

I’d go as far as two common elements because I think they fuel each other rather than one being responsible for this and the other a victim.

I agree with this. They seem to bring out the worst in each other.

Except that's not true, nothing they've said has been proven to be false. That's a lie of and in itself.

Madamecastafiore · 15/12/2022 16:03

It's all a bit Jeremy Kyle. Of course someone who was willing to stoop to this level was never going to fit in. Utterly classless.

flowertoday · 15/12/2022 16:03

It does all seem to be one of the biggest non stories of all time .....
These are all extremely over privileged people who on a daily basis wouldn't recognise an actual real problem if it hit them in the face repeatedly. Not special or talented or particularly kind it seems.
I am not a royalist at all and but do have much sympathy for William and Harry in losing their mother in such a traumatic way at an early age. I can't seem to get further than that though
But aside from this the shameless serialisation of life for profit does seem to be a bit much, and surely there is just more we should all be thinking about....

They never said they 'wanted a private life', that is the biggest lie about them of all.

milveycrohn · 15/12/2022 16:04

We have no idea if this is true or not.
We only have Harry's word that it is true.
So far we have had different accounts of when and how they met.
They married three days before the wedding, etc
So many things have turned out to be untrue, it is hard to know what to believe.
All I know is that if my yet to meet in laws were coming round, I think I would have made some effort, and not met them in ripped jeans and bare feet.
No, obviously not a tiara, but probably smart casual kind of clothes.
I come from a large family, and I could write a book on family drama. But the thing is... these things generally pass, and people move forward, as circumstances change.

Seriously have any of you actually bothered watching the documentary?
Why would anyone want to watch it though? Seriously?

Either you did watch it and form a relevant opinion

Or

You didn't- and why would anyone care about your uninformed opinion?

musingsinmidlife · 15/12/2022 16:06

This netflix series has been the best PR for William and Kate that they have had in a long time.

This book excerpt adds a different perspective to H and M's take of woe.

@IAmWomanHearMeRoar1
"They never said they 'wanted a private life', that is the biggest lie about them of all."
I thought Harry complained about living in a goldfish bowl, like being on the Truman Show, that the camera clicks made him ill, etc etc. (ref Oprah Interview)
If he did not actually say he wanted privacy, he certainly implied it.

shockthemonkey · 15/12/2022 16:07

Then Meghan saying basically that she was lovely and huggy and Kate was a cold fish that kept up protocol even behind closed doors.
She said no such thing, you are manipulating the narrative to suit your agenda. She was saying how she felt embarrassed at being so forward.

Again, disingenuous, IamWoman. Meghan was giving a clear message, under the veil of a "silly me I didn't understand about protocol", that Kate is standoffish and Meghan is all hugs and warmth. I mean, there is no mistaking that standoffish = bad and hugs and warm = good. For almost any audience.

Think of it as humble bragging... akin to saying something like "oh dear, I did abismally in my A levels, I only got an A* and three As"

Noonesperfect · 15/12/2022 16:07

Livelovebehappy · 15/12/2022 15:55

Feel sorry for William that he can’t answer the accusations publicly. I really dislike Harry and Megan. Liars and hypocrites come to mind. It would be interesting to hear the other side of the story, but we won’t get to, much to Harry and Meghan’s glee.

You feel sorry for William because he can't answer back, but not for Harry & Megan when they can't answer back?

Dorisbonson · 15/12/2022 16:07

Frankly given they accused the Archbishop of Canterbury of breaking the law and marrying them in secret I have zero trust what they say. I'm not religious, I'm not royalist, I don't like the royal family but can't stand Meghan and Harry.

Reindeersnooker · 15/12/2022 16:07

I doubt he screamed and I think Harry probably yells but doesn't notice he's doing it.

However they have a story to tell for sure. Only one side of it but still, they've been through a nasty experience.

I have read even in publications loyal to the institution that there was some surprisingly sharp elbowed behaviour from Will and Kate's people. That must have been difficult.

Dorisbonson · 15/12/2022 16:08

Noonesperfect · 15/12/2022 16:07

Pretty sure Everyone on the planet is aware of Meghan and Harrys story - they don't need to answer back!

Noonesperfect · 15/12/2022 16:09

I get fed up with how perfect the media portray Will & Kate as being so damn perfect!

JohnPrescottsPyjamas · 15/12/2022 16:09

I think we all need to remember this a reality TV show, nothing more. To call it a ‘documentary’ is a joke. It’s as staged as Love Island, TOWIE, Keeping Up With the Kardashians etc etc.

“Oh look, there’s a shitty text from William, luckily we have a camera crew handy to film our shocked faces”
