William "screamed and shouted" at Harry.

felulageller · 15/12/2022 10:37

Ep5.
So that's the big accusation we've been waiting for.

Then a denial that he, Harry, denied William had bullied him and MM.

Denying that you denied it so implying it was true that William was bullying them?

Never liked William anyway. Hope he's never King.

Me and my sister scream at each other when we argue. The air turns blue.
You don't pass flowers or blow kisses in an argument do you.

I honestly find comments like this disturbing. It is not normal for adults to scream and shout at each other. If this is happening in your family then please relook at how you are behaving. Because it is not right.

What is Meghan then? White?

It just all seems a sad money grab. The documentary won't change anything. I don't see why they did it except for money

It does seem to be just about the money doesn't it?

They surely can't think that what they are saying is so important that it must be said?

MintyFreshOne · 15/12/2022 15:06

How is a family argument in any way a shocking revelation? I hope this wasn’t the denouement of their Netflix series 😂

It’s important enough for people including you to be talking about. 😅

I think wanted to tell what happened and make some cash. Why not?

Jennybeans401 · 15/12/2022 15:07

@diddl it's important to them to tell their side of the story. I understand that, we don't have to agree with it all though.

I've certainly been left feeling sad for them and their family. Those kids would have had a great time as cousins, I think the RF is still relatable for this reason. Many families divide like this.

Of course not, nothing has been said that isn’t fluff

Netflix must have offered a fair amount and they have a hefty lifestyle to keep going

JohnPrescottsPyjamas · 15/12/2022 15:07

All those that feel sorry for these two and believe the media has been vile to them - stop buying the magazines, the books, the newspapers and watching the documentaries then!

The Press is only supplying a market. If all their supporters took no notice and didn’t buy into all the ridiculous fluff, then photographers wouldn’t be falling over themselves to get intrusive pictures etc. it’s because the gullible public can’t get enough of this vacuous pair. I’m actually a republican and would like to see the back of all the RF but unbelievably, I’ve actually got an element of sympathy for them being saddled with a pair of narcissistic relatives like these.

However, in the words of Oscar Wilde, I think H&M would find, “There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about“

britsabroad · 15/12/2022 15:08

@antelopevalley well she's not black and she's not white - meghan is mixed race as am I. Its not the same as being white or black.

antelopevalley · 15/12/2022 15:09

@britsabroad Some bi-racial people identify as black. Black is a political term as well as referring to ethnicity.

Just how do you know all those people you listed, "tried to give advice"? Who told you that? A tabloid? And how do you know that she "ignored it", when you don't even know what the advice was? You people are simply creating a narrative in your own mind about someone you don't even know, people you don't even know and what was said you don't even know. I think people here are enacting a fantasy, but it's not H&M doing it, it is you people.

So let me guess, you people means me probably because I’m white (or you suppose I’m white).

I am not denying Meghan has been treated badly but I also believe it people did try to help but she ignored them. Other outsider members of the RF have been offered advice and ignored it, or as Sophie did, ignored at the start (Fake Sheikh).

Why would you not offer advice? I can see the scenario, senior royal tries to offer Meghan advice, Meghan at first listens but then realises that her own way isn’t going to get results. She looks like someone not used to being told what to do or advised what to do and like it or lump it that’s what our royal family and any royal family or institution (eg president) has.

jerseybean1000 · 15/12/2022 15:12

I don't know if they are liars but instinct says they are. But regardless, talking like this about your family on worldwide TV demonstrates a significant flaw in character and a very unpleasant one at that. And I can't help thinking that Harry would never have done this without encouragement. I thoroughly dislike the pair of them.

RaRaRaspoutine · 15/12/2022 15:13

Well the media always seem to be writing about William "in a rage" or "raging".

They seem to be on campaign to bring down William and Kate. First there was that shot of Kate in the trailer they put out. Then Meghan saying basically that she was lovely and huggy and Kate was a cold fish that kept up protocol even behind closed doors. Then there was this whole thing with William being protected and now screaming and shouting at Harry.

As I've said before Meghan is a social climber, she thought she'd reached the top of the tree by marrying a prince and then found out there were still two people 'ahead' of her. Harry is a not too bright wet lettuce who will do anything to keep her happy....so here we are.

On the contrary, William and Kate seem to be on a campaign through their mouthpiece Dan Wooten to bring down Harry and Meghan.

Then Meghan saying basically that she was lovely and huggy and Kate was a cold fish that kept up protocol even behind closed doors.

She said no such thing, you are manipulating the narrative to suit your agenda. She was saying how she felt embarrassed at being so forward.

Then there was this whole thing with William being protected and now screaming and shouting at Harry.

He was protected, that's a fact. So was Kate. Meghan was thrown under the bus by the RF.

As I've said before Meghan is a social climber, she thought she'd reached the top of the tree by marrying a prince and then found out there were still two people 'ahead' of her. Harry is a not too bright wet lettuce who will do anything to keep her happy....so here we are.

Oh yes the misogynistic narrative that 'Meghan is the evil succubus and gold digger and social climber and the male is a helpless victim being manipulated by the evil gold digging woman'. With women like you, we don't need any enemies.

Xenia · 15/12/2022 15:14

They have chosen to shut all doors (unless King Charles can be very generous in the face of this) which is their choice. If they think this will endear them to the British however, they are wrong. I think most of us know who is more likely to have behaved well in all this - King Charles and Prince William.

CornishGem1975 · 15/12/2022 15:14

They just need to move the fuck on. They can't keep banging this woe is me drum forever surely.

IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 · 15/12/2022 15:15

britsabroad · 15/12/2022 15:03

@antelopevalley shes not black

Er, yes she is. As a mixed race person, we are always seen as black. Don't tell a person of colour they are 'not black'. That is one of the most deeply offensive, ignorant and racist comments you can make.

antelopevalley · 15/12/2022 15:16

Strange how it is always the black woman's fault.

Oh it's not its the ginger man's fault for marrying someone who doesn't believe in having family ties to her own family or any other ;)

No, you people as in you people who hate Meghan and who lie, twist and distort facts.

I also believe it people did try to help but she ignored them

So it was changed from she received advice, to you 'believe' she received advice.

I can see the scenario, senior royal tries to offer Meghan advice, Meghan at first listens but then realises that her own way isn’t going to get results.

You can 'see the scenario'? So you've gone from she received advice to now you imagine she did.

She looks like someone not used to being told

Ah, she 'looks' like someone not used to being told? I see. And how does that look like, exactly, in your mind?

TirisfalPumpkin · 15/12/2022 15:20

Thread is moving really quickly, but I had a go at some fact checks on the claims about people within the family trying to help and getting the cold shoulder.

The 'Camilla tried to advise Meghan' comes from Angela Levin's bio of Camilla. She is a journalist and royal biographer - and a noted critic of H&M. Apparently C noticed M struggling/looking bored and wanted to help, M having none of it. I'd take it with a pinch of salt, but I don't think anyone's ever come out and said 'that never happend, here's a libel lawsuit'.

The one about Sophie Wessex apparently came from the Queen and was reported in Gyles Brandreth's QEII biography. Apparently the Queen felt SW would be a good mentor for Meghan (with the implication that she's a woman who's been through it) but she was rebuffed, Meg preferring to rely on Harry.

Again, usual 'don't trust everything you read' applies, but I think they've got some credibility, they're not just random Reddit posts.

slideintomxas · 15/12/2022 15:21

I’m not watching the series but….. - is that it? Is that actually the big reveal??? That two brothers had a row? Two adult men had an argument?
FFS Netflix must think they were robbed 😂
Hopefully that’s the end of it now and everyone can move on.

JohnPrescottsPyjamas · 15/12/2022 15:22

antelopevalley · 15/12/2022 15:16

Strange how it is always the black woman's fault.

Isn’t that racist in itself? Look at the hard time (white) Fergie had at the hands of the Press. She couldn’t do anything right. There were some horrific comments about her weight and her apparent lack of fashion sense because she didn’t match up to the skinny and bulimic Diana. She also experienced a lot of abuse on her own without a supportive husband.
Goodness, people have short memories.

Meghan AND Harry are under scrutiny because they’ve chosen not to go quietly - their choice - not because Meghan is mixed race.
