To me this is the ultimate comfort TV.
Every season I miss the previous year's contestants and then end up loving it all over again.
This year the less well-known candidates (to me as well) have already won me over. And Dara O'Briain is like the exasperated yet optimistic supervising the chaos.
The question group task at the end of last episode had me crying.

Anyone else desperately want to have a go at Trolley Bowling...?

I thought this weeks episode was quite poor until the last task . I think the trolley bowling probably sounded better on paper than it turned out to be .

I’d love to do it. I wondered how many people would try it, either at an airport or a supermarket car park. I’m surprised there wasn’t a warning about not trying it at home 🤣

I think Supermarket trolleys have the wrong centre of gravity for this. I think it has to be a sturdy, low base trolley. Maybe ikea... 🤔

I loved the way that, under pressure, most of them couldn't even remember the alphabet!😃

I’m still watching! The last two episodes have been utterly hilarious - Dara and his “Wait, what?!” moment (if you listen to the podcast for that episode Dara acknowledges that people will probably be yelling that at him in the street for years to come!) and I loved this week’s feather task and the trick shot at Gatwick!

We've been away so had to catch up but I think we might still have missed one as I dont remember the feather task?

I've just this minute heard DS shout "wait! What?" from the room Next door where he's playing Xbox 😂

I so want to go play in an empty airport! Loved the sneaky cheating from Munya on the trick shot task and how he slid down in his chair 😂

@Hellocatshome the feather task was a group task this week.

We've got a new catchphrase at home now. "Wait, what?" And the reply is, of course, "What, wait!" 🤣🤣🤣

It's rare that I enjoy all the contestants. There's usually one irritating plonker. But this series' contestants are gold.

I did think that the trolley-bowling, and a couple of other tasks, have been somewhat unfair on the women, being weighted in favour of the men's greater strength.

Has anyone listened to the podcast episode that John did? I mentioned it after it aired as I want to know what other people think about “the magic lamp”. I really don’t want to say more for fear of spoiling it!

I listened to it and wondered when that was going to show up.

They’ve probably edited references to it out. I think he said they didn’t even film the x in the shed, just told him after they’d finished for the day.

I did laugh at the unused "item" 😂

You have to wonder how many other things like that go unused!

I bet their planning meetings are fun

I really enjoyed this week. The feather task really tickled me 😂 I was like Fearne though with the exercise ball task. I was really confused, I’m going to have to watch it again. I’ve no idea of the marking.

I think this weeks was one of the better ones this series .

I am enjoying all of the contestants too. Hadn't heard of Munya before but he's very entertaining and I love his enthusiasm. And Greg's comment about growing up in the 70s when you weren't allowed self confidence 😄

I listened to the Dara episode of the podcast and found the way they were describing Sarah very funny.

Rhod Gilbert hiding inside Greg's wardrobe nearly killed me..... possibly one of the funniest things I've ever seen!

I had surgery at the beginning of Oct with a hip-to-hip abdominal incision which has made watching this series quite difficult as I really want to laugh a lot but daren't until everything's healed! Dara's "Wait, what?" really tested me & again on the podcast. Anybody saying it would be funny but with his lovely accent it seems even funnier!
