To me this is the ultimate comfort TV.
Every season I miss the previous year's contestants and then end up loving it all over again.
This year the less well-known candidates (to me as well) have already won me over. And Dara O'Briain is like the exasperated yet optimistic supervising the chaos.
The question group task at the end of last episode had me crying.

Fern’s, “have I met these potatoes before?” comment was so funny 😂
I listen to the podcasts too and have watched all the series’, some of them several times and I’m still annoyed with myself when Ed was talking about the laminator/instructions task saying that it was obvious that it was a two parter and I hadn’t picked up on that!
I still think my favourite was the Joe Wilkinson potato one!

New year episode looks promising

l can’t stand FB but one twat won’t stop me watching. I feel for the poor sods teamed up with him. This series was a really good bunch, Fern was my favourite.

We often sing "tree wizard" in this house

"How many times will he check the balloon?"

Even now I can't hear those two words without it getting stuck in my head for at least an hour
