It's like Christmas has come early! It's looks tense from the trailer/advert. So sad it's the last one though-or is it just Perez's last series? Love Tosh. Can't stand Sandy. I'd love to visit up there.

Duncan is in jail doing his time/self-imposed martyrdom, and has already told Jimmy that when he gets out, he won't be coming back to Shetland because of his on-going series, Guilt on BBC Scotland need to make a fresh start.

Is anyone else now worried that Jimmy might be leaving on the business end of another fertiliser explosive?

This series is 6 episodes apparently, so we have another three to go. Ooh, just realised I might be IN Scotland for the last episode!

That was a good episode. Some good misdirection, very plausible, I didn't think it would be the artists house Perez went to at the end, I thought it was going to be the photographer. That said, I'm not sure the photographer is doing anything wrong. I think he is doing undercover or exposé work and the photos are possibly showing dumped toxic waste in the loch hence the nautical maps, and I think he might have been working with Connor and Bryd. You really could feel the horror in that room in the abandoned church.

Maybe the guilt he feels about misjudging Conor will make him leave - for a new life with the girlfriend.

How can you get Sherwood and Shetland mixed up?!

I know Perez doesn’t really know everyone on the island and there will be more than one person from the US…but when he asked Sandy to look up the old classmates of the first dead guy I did wonder if he had temporarily forgotten the conveniently placed American artist he just stayed over with!

I know this is a bit pedantic/stupid but how did they drag/carry two people down a corridor and then torture them in the pitch black?

There's 'something' about how Tosh got away.
The artist gave himself away before he and Perez started drinking.
The bomb man would be a better partner for Tosh than the wet lad she's with.
Donnie's (?) ex is a bit over-interested in Tosh's bomb-escape, and has just returned to Shetland from elsewhere, hasn't she?
OK. Dodgy people, a bit suspect - the ex girlfriend, the photographer, the artist, Clana, the photographer's missus, and the couple who sacked Connor pre-episode one.

Nor me. Exactly how did Tosh get out of the caravan in time when the timer shows a few seconds to go? There's no way you'd walk away with just slightly singed hands and a lost coat button! Are we going to know more later?

photographer is also dodgy but I agree it's more likely to be that he is snooping around about the illegal waste dumping/environmental thing. Possibly a journalist.

I can't see Her from Eastenders taking part in the torture so she might innocent.

I think Perez should have been a bit more concerned about the girl who looks at dead bodies on the internet. It might not be relevant to the case but could have been referred elsewhere and was worthy of more than an amused raised eyebrow.

Bryd was on the phone to someone, who was it? Can't even find the episode now, but I thought it was odd at the time. Very soon after Connor went missing, asking about him, saying 'If you see him you will let me know?'

I'm getting suspicious of the mother now. She's always shouting and blaming other people!

with bf paying way to much attention to the OTHER WOMAN, Tosh could do worse than pursue that spark ( pun intended)

Sandy is hampered by possibly the worst acting I’ve seen since the last series of Shetland

sorry, love this programme but it does struggle with wooden acting and appalling dialogue script..and actor who plays sandy is worse. I know he’s supposed to be a bit dim and over enthusiastic, but it is really painful to watch at times.

does anyone know if they were still socially distancing in shooting this series. They seem to have the same affliction as last series of standing unnaturally far away from each other. There was a scene last week between Tosh and Perez where they were talking about the case and standing so far apart, I was worried they would tell the whole of Shetland the investigation details and not nic the murderer. I know they had to do that last series..but it seems long distance conversations have kept going 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣🤔🙄

I too noticed the wee spark the bomb man had for Tosh it was as subtle as a sledgehammer - similar to Nurse O' Flirty and Perez.
