It's like Christmas has come early! It's looks tense from the trailer/advert. So sad it's the last one though-or is it just Perez's last series? Love Tosh. Can't stand Sandy. I'd love to visit up there.

I'm always wrong about everything but here goes... I think the birdwatching photographer is a detective watching the Cairns family because Connor is mixing with bad 'uns and his dad is known to be dodgy. Connor might have been blackmailing the man from the library.

Someone else commented that it took 2 men to interview a woman at the airport but Tosh went up on her own to an isolated part of the island where a possible murderer was hiding out.
I thought that it was odd Perez didn't accompany her or send someone with her.

@ChoccyJules the announcer said before that Tosh gets a huge surprise, and I thought that was going to be to do with her overly smiley oh and the other woman, and I was like they're stretching the drama a bit. The ending made much more sense.

@StopStartStop Thats a good theory on the photographer. Not thought of that. Every new character is always a wrong 'un until proven otherwise

A huge surprise sounds a bit jocular for what happened to Tosh! Hoping all the lingering goodbyes to the baby are just a bit of misdirection to make people think she's been killed, if that makes sense.

If only Bryd had told the police about Connor's safe place, some of this could have been avoided. (Obviously not how drama works, I know...)

With 'that kiss', Perez seems to be discovering that there's more to life than his job. I wonder if a combination of Nursey feeling that his job is always coming between them and something about this last case getting to Perez and leading to disillusionment with his job, is our ending - Ireland, Fair Isle or Glasgow for the pair of them? Or where Cassie settles - she seems to be in the cast list for this series so perhaps will 'give her blessing' to NO'F?
