I'm not sure why Thomas and Adrian were matched. Adrian is just swamped by Thomas. Does it often happen in relationships that you have one super-extrovert, and a quiet mouse that balance each other out? I can't think of a couple that I know who are like that.

I think that means any time the experts talk about one partner balancing another that means it is instantly doomed.

The repetition in this series doesn't seem quite so bad so far as it was in the last series, but somehow it's going to last longer even with three of the first four couples looking like they're headed straight for the glue factory.

Who have we got left? Kasia, Jenna, Lara and Jess, to match up with Kwame, Zoe, Richie and PJay. That's Jenna/Zoe, most likely Lara/Richie (because of age), so I guess Kasia/Kwame and Jess/Pjay? Feel like I have very little sense of Kasia or Kwame yet - so I'm immediately pinning my hopes on them.

Sorry, the pink wafer thing was me - I’d said at the start of the thread that if I told the ixperts I liked dark chocolate digestives they’d match me with a pink wafer… (important to note I don’t like pink wafers, hence using it to signify a disappointing biscuit/spouse).

I am deeply unsympathetic and eyerolly about dead grandparents. It's sad to lose people you love but it's also a thing that happens as you get older. I had no grandparents OR parents left on my wedding day but managed to get through the day nonetheless.

I think maybe the preview with the 'cheating' lines was cleverly edited to mislead us.
I reckon he's discovered she cheated on an ex in the PAST and he has a big issue with that as it has happened to him in the PAST.
