Mel had natural cycle ivf so no injections but still weird.

She could have twins one that is Jack's and one that is Mark's.

If fact maybe I should write the next seasons script.

I'm starting to wonder if I will live long enough to see all these babies born.

I’ve just watched the last episode of season 4. WTAF? Now the twins aren’t Jack’s? But Mel’s baby is Jack’s? It’s all so convenient, I mean how was it that the very weekend Jack broke up with her was a good time to implant two eggs? Now those eggs haven’t taken but Jack’s amazing sperm has gotten through?

So disappointed with 3rd season was hoping this would be better but found it a bit Meh! The books are amazing tho.

I watched the last episode last night but I zoned out at the end I was that bored. I got all the parentage of the babies but I missed what happend with preacher. He was first fighting the guy and then Paige got the gun but I have no memory of what happened next. Who got shot?

No one got shot. Preacher hit the guy on the head with a table leg or something and the guy collapsed in a heap.

Another thing which I now can’t unsee after my partner pointed it out - the background is in soft focus 95% of the time.

I’m with you all on the timing side of things good god I hope the twins are born in the next series.

I loved Jack when we were teenagers and he was in Shortland Street but I definitely have the ick now. He and Mel are a Jeremy Kyle show waiting to happen.

He was in Grey’s Anatomy too, where he played a pretty similar character to Jack.

I keep wanting to call him Riggs because there is no difference between the two characters.

Same with Mel, she's the same boring character she played on this is us.

I finished season 4 over the weekend and what was that ending? Twins are not Jack's then whose is it? Surely cant be that weirdo cheating husband of hers?

Am I the only one that wanted Mel's baby to not be Jacks's? Amazing how Mel had fertility issues for years and then Bam got pregnant so quick naturally? I mean it can happen but it all seems to convenient to me?

Also I wanted Cameron to stay in Virgin River. Lowkey wanted him and Mel to be together HAHAHA

And Lastly I think Charmaine is soooo DRAMATIC!

The father of the twins will obviously be someone Jack is good friends with!

Or Brady?

Wouldn't be surprised if its Preacher at this point 🙄

I just hope Netflix doesn’t suddenly cancel the show and we never find out. This has happened to me on so many Netflix shows. It’s annoying!

@Nekomata that's my worry too. I was enjoying it until the shock of Charmaine only being 5 months pregnant. The show is just moving too slowly. I don't think enough people will watch it.
The wedding annoyed me too. I can see them getting married where Mel was, so she could attend. But a wedding with all melS friends must have been the most awkward occasion ever.

is season 4 the first time have we seen the view outside of the bar?

Just realised the doctor wife is Annette O’Toole. I remember her form Superman 3. I didn’t recognise her at first.

I think Doc is the father. Or maybe Ricky. Just kidding but seriously wth??!!!

I was convinced the last episode would be the birth of the twins (involving some emergency in which Doc and Mel save the day!) - five months - argh!!! At this rate it'll be series ten before any of these babies get born!

Also, iirc, Charmaine had a ton of baby stuff in her flat, before she met the rich guy, including two fully assembled cots before she was even showing 😂
