My god what an inane, weird load of crap. Still, I'm watching...

What does really piss me off is the background muzak. I don't know why the whole plot, cast, acting, fakery etc is so mesmerising. WHY CAN'T I STOP??! I'll have to bleach my eyeballs after

Right!? And somehow she judges her sister for jumping into a relationship. She's moved in with a guy she barely knows, maybe expecting his baby, maybe he got another woman pregnant a few months before that. Her life is a train wreck!

The Renaissance Fayre is amazing. Is this typical for small towns in the US?

Why cant I stop watching this shit show?

Can't believe a medical professional thought it was a good idea to have sex with on again off again boyfriend while having fertility treatment. Dur!

What drives me mental in this show is that time moves very very slowly. They'll be about 50 by the time she gives birth.

Half the time they're forgetting their lines. They keep pausing / stumbling and pretending that it's normal to talk like this. Retake the scene you cheapskates!

And Jack doesn't seem to have any facial expressions at all

What keeps me going to the end of this interminable series is the gorgeous Preacher. Oh yes, more of him. He learns his lines, acts well, more like a human than the rest of them put together

I've realised I only watch it for the gorgeous scenery.

I thought season 3 was so bad. I saw the new season was out so thought, let me give it a try. I didn't even get half way through episode 1 😂 It is just dire!

I cannot tell you the disappointment I had to deal with after season 3 as I loved seasons 1 and 2. So I thought maybe it was so bad because of lockdown etc etc. Nope. Its just bad. The the acting has got even worse, if that is even possbile.

It think its clear I am not impressed.....

The whole facial expression thing is problematic. Quite a few of the actors have had so much botox/fillers/surgery that it's incredibly obvious - and yet there's no way their characters would have the money or the inclination. Jack, for example, the rugged hero who impregnates the entire village and paints an entire building in a day but can't move his forehead.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the passage of time! TV shows are usually 1 season over a few months (and more time passes off screen in between seasons) but here it seems to be going day by day 😅

The pregnancy timescales make little sense but more worrying are the relationships! If Mel has been there less than a year, her and Jack have been on and off multiple times already and gone through more than most couples do in a lifetime! Likewise Charmaine, she was madly in love with Jack 4-5 months ago wanting to make it work and suddenly found another bloke who is fully committed to a woman barely pregnant with someone else's child in a matter of weeks?! (Btw I haven't fully watched this season yet)

Also, the sister’s wedding was really weird. Why did she want to get married where Mel lives in front of all of Mel’s friends and neighbors? It’s really weird that her sister and fiancé don’t have any friends or family of their own. Who does that?

Just finished it. Honestly, 5 months pregnant lol.

Won't lie I was totally hooked again though.

I think I’ll have to give up on it, how much longer can Charmaine be pregnant for! The acting has always been bad but it’s like none of them are even putting in any effort now. Even the scenery can’t save it for me now.

The actor that annoys me most has to be Annette O'Toole who plays Hope. The amount of pouting that woman does is so irritating!!!

I wasn't too upset that she wasn't in season 3.

I have had more entertainment from this thread than of season 3 AND 4 of the series 😂

It's like a different script writer has written series 4 and has never seen series 1-2

I was trying to work out all of the things that have happened since Charmaine got pregnant . From the top of my head - wanted to be with Jack , Mel and Jack got together , Charmaine got together with Todd and GOT MARRIED? , Jack got shot and recovered , Hope had a TBI , Mels sister got married, a new Dr arrived , The old Dr got a sight thing (?) , the bar tender joined the marines , Preachers boy person got kidnapped , Brady went to prison and got stabbed and got out …

Yep, and found out the father & sex of her baby, yet Charmaine has only just found out.

I genuinely thought she must be in labour now when they found her at the house, nope 5 months pregnant.

Also, was Paige the same person?!

Yes time goes by too slowly & yet often feels like I've missed an episode, usually when an interesting storyline could've happened( the drugs raid, kidnap, Denny passing out) but somehow it's back to Mel & jack or Doc & hope drama

All the relationships are terrible women, falling over themselves to be with a man. Why do both couples want to get married a month after meeting? Wasn't Joey only just split from her husband?

Not sure why Jack is the guy they all want he seems to be a total mess, emotionally stunted & bit controlling. Yet Preacher is hot, great cook, caring, takes on kid care & would get rid of a body for you.

I had to finish once started but I don't think I could watch another series where not a lot happens😂

Did anyone else think it was odd how quickly they implanted the embryos.
Surely there would be a discussion then injections etc rather than just implanting them the first day.
