Jane true,Alexander is quite dismissive at times- it's funny lstening to him on the 'ordinary ' show- he doesn't care about Sharon's passion for pressed flowers or Dave's trip to the Pyramids.

Yes I think triplet too but can't remember what programmes she used to be on. I had forgotten she existed!

Still seems to be raining, which doesn not bode well for me, and staying awake to get to see at least the first men's semi final.

It's not like London when we had our local weather forecaster on the thread! Now there's no way of knowing what time to tune in.

No, and looking at the state of that court, I'd say they would have better luck swimming than playing tennis.

Why don't they cover it? Would be a lot better than trying to dry it later with towels with the new fangled blower thing.

Nicky Clarke was at the same holiday resort as us a few years ago - I think his hair is real (but he did look quite scruffy!)

At least Coric is still having a good run - I don’t feel so bad about him beating Rafa if he’s still in the tournament

I saw the results a little while ago, I gave up watching the rain. Daniil won't be happy to gave lost to Stef- and Fizzy I feel the same about Coric- if he had to beat Rafa, glad he's backed that up.
Might be a surprising final. Stef ought to have the edge, but Coric is having a great week.

Morning! I watched the end of Petra’s match (pleased to see her go through) and the beginning of Caroline and Aryna’s match until it started raining.

Disappointed for Cam but semi final is still a good run.

Hoping to at least see the women’s final later but might not catch the men’s - can’t be late to bed tonight as I have to be up early-ish in the morning for a flight - finally going on the holiday we originally booked in November 2019!
