Jane there are many 'tall' players now, and none seem as ungainly and wrong as Isner. I loved watching Delpo, and I don't even mind Opelka (in small doses, and he does look like a muppet). But Isner - ugh.

Stef obviously couldn’t decide which colour to wear, so decided to wear all the colours.

Chessie it does look that way. I don't get the pink shorts. They look like a laundry disaster, and a very weak colour.

If you want pink, wear pink.

But not Isner. Isner looks daft in everything

Fizzy neutral shorts would defintely have been better. Or any plain, bright colour, but the insipid pink is all wrong.

Black definitely goes better with it.

It's true about Apostolos- maybe Philippoussis said he would only stick around if Mr T didn't cause a fuss..

So Alcaraz and Felix are out- I suppose the Felix result is an upset, Norrie beating Carlos less so ( even though he's not managed it before. ). Looks like it was close in the first 2 sets especially.

In good news, despite his loss, because the points threshold drops as the year goes on, Rafa is the first to qualify for the tour finals. I just hope he gets to play. I think last year was the first time in about 15 years he hadn't qualified (and wouldn't have played anyway)-so I'm glad he will at least be in the draw. It would end the year nicely if he won it, finally. But that's a big ask.

It's odd watching Pointless with the screens still up between them (might be a repeat). I've got used to everything being pretty much 'back to normal'.
