Couldn't get to sleep, too hot. Eventually got up and watched the last few games on my phone! (Now feel crap!)
I see he won his doubles aswell.
Unfortunately, Jack lost though.

Looking ahead to Cincy, I see Stan is playing Andy in the first round! Obviously some withdrawals because Andy was meant to be playing Taro Daniel in qualifying

And Emma has got Serena in the first round. I saw it being touted as a show stopper match. Can't see it myself

Since neither Emma or Serena have been playing well lately, it's hard to tell who will be happier with that draw. On paper, Emma is the seeded player - but Serena will have the crowds behind her . So, it will depend on whether Emma is injured, or Serena fit.

I have just read- again- that Djok has withdrawn from Cincy. Just as he 'withdrew' from Canada. No. They might be letting him say that - but he wasn't allowed to play

I saw something earlier which seemed to be saying that the US are relaxing some of their covid restrictions, I think just for US citizens, but implying there may be a way for Cock to play the Open.

What happened to Dan at the end? Did he run out of steam? Still, a great run and the only player to take a set off PCB so far.
Looking back at the Prime replays, DS reckons they only gave Dan an hour, after a 3 hour match, to get back on court for his doubles! Well done him for winning it! So two Brits in the final

I gave up at 4 when it was 3-2 to PCB. Shame he didn't make the final. He's been amazing and so fun to watch.

Jane I didn't hear what was being said re the toilet chat, but if it was in any way directed at Hubi, it's probably because of the Kyrgios match. All if Dick's morning and swearing and claiming waiting for 5 minutes made him seize up.

It was within the rules, and Hurkacz was not over time. But they wouldn't let it go at the time.

I think Andy and Stan play each other at about 6.30pm tonight - looks as if Rafa’s match is a night one on Wednesday - I assume Cinci time so I probably won’t get to see it

Emma playing Serena tonight - could be interesting although neither in very good form

It feels a bit cooler here today thank goodness - I’ve not really enjoyed the hot weather over the last week 🥵
