I agree viques she looked like she'd just come from a lockdown workout with Joe Wicks.. coulda made a bit of an effort!

WobblyLondoner · 26/06/2022 23:40

Doh Bicep. I'm so hip me ;)

TwoOwlSocks · 26/06/2022 23:41

I haven't seen loads but the best for me were:
Noel and High Flying Birds
Yungblud
PSB

Macca got there in the last half hour but only with help from Dave and Bruce.

Raow · 26/06/2022 23:41

For me that was one of the all time great Glasto performances from the PSB. Superb

Cassimin · 26/06/2022 23:42

Bicep.
going to give them til 12 then it’s bed for me.
move had a lovely weekend. Kids at glasto, house is spotless, we’ve eaten out and had takeaway every night. Hope they all get tickets for next year. 😀

Raow · 26/06/2022 23:43

My top 5

PSB
Sam Fender
Billie Eilesh
Noel Gallagher
Elbow

Sparklingbrook · 26/06/2022 23:44

I was going to have an early night after the Macca endurance test last night but I'm all wide awake now.

Sparklingbrook · 26/06/2022 23:46

Yes, he got by with a little help from his friends in the end. I wouldn't want to watch the whole thing again.

ShirleyJackson · 26/06/2022 23:46

I liked:

second half of Macca
Foals
Noel Gallagher
Sam Fender
Lorde

Still got loads to catch up on!

Tried to look for Rufus Wainwright on iplayer and can't see him- too may categories and can't see a search function.

@SwedishEdith - go on the iPlayer channel and look in the Glasto Wind down section and I think he's there.

Thank you! Will look tomorrow.

DeadButDelicious · 26/06/2022 23:46

Jarv is
Pet shop boys
Paul McCartney
Jack White

Sparklingbrook · 26/06/2022 23:49

Is Jarvis worth a watch?

Snozzlemaid · 26/06/2022 23:49

I will look forward to catching up with PSB tomorrow as you've all said how great they were.
Watched Kendrik Lamar with dd this evening. Didn't recognise a single song.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 26/06/2022 23:52

Pet Shop Boys were great. It was funny when the technical glitch meant Chris Lowe was hidden and Where's Chris was trending on Twitter.

I'm about to go to bed but I've just put Paul McCartney on again. I am deffo going to watch the whole set again. I think they might've tweaked the sound. His vocal sounds a lot louder.

Fluffmonkey82 · 26/06/2022 23:53

Pet Shop Boys were amazing as expected.

Apparently the delay in getting PM's set onto Iplayer was 'techincal difficulties' i take that to mean PM wanted to watch the whole thing first and sort his sound out.

Too late Paul

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 26/06/2022 23:57

He's a perfectionist. I've been getting surprisingly defensive at all the people criticising his voice. For 80 I thought he was superb. Especially compared to Diana Ross, who was dross.

tobee · 26/06/2022 23:58

Dh just said Glenn Tilbrook, Fidherman's Friends, The Bootleg Beatles and Suzanne Vega were on today; but can't see hide nor hair of them on iPlayer?!?

Yep!

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 26/06/2022 23:59

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbot also played on Friday and said on Twitter that they were very upset not to be on iPlayer. They have a few tracks that Paul's wife recorded.

I thought PM's voice was better this weekend than when he did the jubilee (ten years ago?).

If he's a perfectionist he must realise that his live voice is not what it was, and yet he still wants to do it? Confused

tobee · 27/06/2022 00:03

Feels like, despite having all the iPlayer channels, we're seeing less stuff than in years gone by but maybe I just have higher expectations. This sort of event is always good when you know lots of people are watching at the same time. To talk over at the water cooler next day. Which is much more rare these days.
