A thread for discussion of Sewing Bee with no criticism of the contestants' personalities, mannerisms, or looks - just their sewing and designs, please.

Who's everybody's favourite for the win? I think Brogan's going to get it, but I'd be happy for any of them to win.

There seems to be a fair bit of figuring out the instructions between the contestants, particularly as the series progresses and they get more scant. That’s always heartwarming to see (if not always correct).

I can’t decide who I want to win. I noticed on Instagram Debra’s title was Golden Zebra and I wondered if that was a hint that she’d won.

Thank you for starting this new thread. Does anyone know where Gill got her fish fabric from which she made her pyjamas from? I have searched but not found it.

I would be happy with any of them winning but secretly would be happier if Man Yee won😊

I started making a patchwork quilt out of DS’ baby clothes in lockdown. I’m really not very good at sewing but I find it so relaxed.

As a purist I should hate this (and first series I've watched of this). But I love it.

Brogan has been a bit irritating but she is young. Everyone apparently really seems to get along. Man Yee I think will win but Debra very close second.

@LadyEloise1 I totally am!! I only started watching Bee this series (although I plan to work my way through the previous 7 as soon as it's finished!)

Patrick is so dreamy in the early series of the Sewing Bee, like an old time Hollywood hearthrob, something even DH agrees with. You've got a treat in store @BattenbergdowntheHatches .He's looking a bit more craggy lately, but aren't we all.

On the subject of Patrick, you might have seen in the news that Joe Lycett was reported to the police for one of his jokes. Patrick has gone up even further in my estimation for his reply to Joe's Instagram post...

I also just like the fact they're Instagram pals - seems very in the spirit of the Bee.

Amazing!! I've always fancied Patrick, I met him on saville row about 15 years ago before I knew who he was but I remember thinking he was hot!
