Did anyone see Gregg on Richard Osman's House of Games recently? There is no way to avoid making this sound incredibly patronising, but he turns out to be quite a bit brighter than you would ever think from watching Masterchef.

I saw it and I agree, EthelTheAardvark.
I thought he was going to be painfully bad, but he was fine.

(As an aside, really disliking Crystelle from Bake Off who's competing this week and tries to compensate for lack of knowledge by making a hell of a noise and laughing in a loud "HaHaHAH!" way at everything. Don't know if she was like that on GBBO, as I don't watch it.

(And, yes, I'm sure my small knowledge of trivia isn't anything like as impressive as Crystelle's baking ability.
That's why I wouldn't try to compete on GBBO.)

I have a plan: stick Stanley Tucci on the show and just claim that it's Gregg after bionic man level plastic surgery and a gruelling week at the world's most intensive charm school. Obviously the real Gregg would have to be locked up in the Bastille or somewhere.

He was wasn’t he, it was a bit disturbing, maybe he had batered Monica’s phone number for a preview of the questions. He ought to be made to do celebrity mastermind, I am pretty sure Clive wouldn’t stand for any shenanigans.
