BBC 2 8pm tonight (feb 1st) Tom Kerridge is one of the new judges.

Can't wait to see some soil and steam and shoehorned themes.

Why don’t they choose top 5 from each course

jay55 · 28/03/2022 21:52

Why don’t they choose top 5 from each course
They did that once, maybe olympic year and some chefs threw tantrums when they weren't chosen to cook a course. Was so much fun.

Floella and fish, marvellous.

I bloody love Floella. I'd be fan girling so hard if I met her. She's been my hero since about 1974!

Stellaris22 · 30/03/2022 19:42

I'm relieved Adam didn't win the fish course, couldn't believe he was still complaining about catering for a shellfish allergy.

EsmaCannonball · 30/03/2022 21:08

Yes, I'm not a fan of Adam.

To me Sally, Nathan, Chris and Spencer seem in another league to the others. There's definitely an imbalance this year.

ILoveYou3000 · 30/03/2022 21:21

Adam is awful. I love Nathan. Chris is amazing. I agree about Sally and Spencer too. I have to admit I do like Liv, she's so dry.

Alison Steadman is brilliant, she's really getting into the spirit of things. She's having fun.

ILoveYou3000 · 30/03/2022 21:29

Sam has a lovely attitude even though he's not had a great week so far, he just never stops smiling. I hope he gets at least one place higher tonight.

Hallelujah2020 · 30/03/2022 21:32

Really like Liv, think she’s a great character

Pleased Adam didn’t win the fish course, unfortunately he really let himself down throwing his teddies out of the pram. And get the feeling Andi isn’t a fan

I want each of them to get a course. They are great chefs and have lovely personalities to go with it.

They really do. Adam on the other hand seems quite unpleasant. He was fuming he didn't place higher for main. He could barely bring himself to speak to Sally when she came into the kitchen. Such a shame.

Medicaltextbook · 30/03/2022 23:08

Well deserved. How do all the props work? Mostly a box, special plates or silly hat Fir Spencer’s - 2 banqueting areas or does everyone file out and they re-set with the candle sticks and different table clothes? Probably not a bad idea after two courses.

herecomesthsun · 31/03/2022 08:29

I liked the look of Nathan's Merlin starter and Spencer's main.

Must catch up with the fish course

knittingaddict · 31/03/2022 09:37

Chris to get the dessert course? His sherry dessert looked and seemed to taste lovely, so hopefully he has a good chance.

JodieFoster1 · 31/03/2022 15:22

Came on to read whether you were finding Adam horrible or if it was just me. So cross when he complains and fusses about catering for a serious food allergy. He seems to think he is better than everyone else and he really isn’t! Has a bad temper too.

Love Andi, she is my favourite part of the show. So pleased the Wales Merlin starter went through, all the other chefs are great, really good bunch. Particularly Spencer (Ritz) and the N Irish chef.

jay55 · 31/03/2022 20:00

Evening.
I'm shamelessly hoping one of the women get the pud course.

Sunbird24 · 31/03/2022 20:01

Hello! Same here @jay55

jay55 · 31/03/2022 20:06

Though Nathan is my fave, can't wait for him to be back judging wales next year Grin

Sunbird24 · 31/03/2022 20:12

Spencer can’t possibly do 3 courses in a row can he?

jay55 · 31/03/2022 20:14

The second group look quite defeated already.

OMG remember when Mars bars were massive. Now they're like fun size used to be 😂😂
Love vicar of Dibley.

I can’t remember what Nathan’s previous dessert was?

jay55 · 31/03/2022 20:19

No idea.

OP posts:
Sunbird24 · 31/03/2022 20:25

That’s a shame for Sam

jay55 · 31/03/2022 20:35

It really is between sherry and the cigar so far.
