BBC 2 8pm tonight (feb 1st) Tom Kerridge is one of the new judges.

Can't wait to see some soil and steam and shoehorned themes.

Evening if anyone is about and not watching bake off.
I forgot we still had NI to go.

Oh, I liked Niall as a competitor.

I still haven't forgiven Chris McClurg for doing a dish based around Clean Bandit the year the theme was the best of British music.

jay55 · 22/03/2022 20:18

Emulsion is a terrible word for food.

This starter tart is smaller than some of the canapés have been.

Looks fab though

Gosh the judge is so so nervous when giving feedback his voice was wobbling and his hands visibly shaking, is this the first time he has done this?

EsmaCannonball · 22/03/2022 20:34

Surely Line of Duty should be Halibut, Herring and Hake.

jay55 · 22/03/2022 20:35

Or a wee donkey.

I love Andi's dress tonight.

Here watching but baby unwell.

littlbrowndog · 22/03/2022 20:57

But obvious winner

jay55 · 22/03/2022 20:57

Hope they heal up fast (and let you get some sleep).

The judge and the leaving chef have matching red faces.

Evening all. Missed last night as there was a last minute bit of work that came in then I had to go out and buy cake.

ILoveYou3000 · 23/03/2022 21:23

Bless Chris trying to polite about the burnt meat but Andi was not impressed!

This feels a bit like a one-horse race.

AnneShirleysNewDress · 23/03/2022 21:45

I'm not enjoying Niall's judging at all.

Sunbird24 · 23/03/2022 22:01

Yup, Chris appears to have been streets ahead. Looks like they’re trying to hint at a surprise result with the judges, guess we’ll see

EsmaCannonball · 23/03/2022 22:15

My god, I don't think I've ever wanted to eat something made on this show as much as I wanted that sherry trifle. I was actually making Sid James 'Phwoarrrr!' noises. It's almost made me forgive Chris for putting tomatoes in his dessert last time he was on the show.

jay55 · 24/03/2022 20:02

Agree on that trifle yesterday. And the way Andi went off to rave about it.

One horse race again tonight?

Ahhh much closer than expected and Gemma was better than some others that have gone through, shame her main didn't work again.

OP posts:
littlbrowndog · 28/03/2022 21:04

Here. It’s the last at last 🤣

littlbrowndog · 28/03/2022 21:04

It’s been weeks and weeks

jay55 · 28/03/2022 21:07

Can't remember half of them.

OP posts:
Sunbird24 · 28/03/2022 21:17

Howdo! Ive forgotten most of these too now…

jay55 · 28/03/2022 21:19

Those sausage looked a bit pale but I'd love the chicken skin.

jay55 · 28/03/2022 21:40

Roast potato foam is the answer to add a word ruin a dish.

littlbrowndog · 28/03/2022 21:45
