Mine is The Big Bang Theory. We never watched it when it was first on, then we saw the odd episode on telly and enjoyed it so we got the box set and watched all 12 series in a couple of months!

It’s so funny, lots of favourite episodes. One of my favourite parts is when Bernadette is talking about being short and she says ‘and that’s why my feet don’t touch the ground when I’m sitting on a chair’. I’m 4ft 11 and very much have this problem Grin

whitewolf I agree - I did see some live (pre video recorder/dvd recorder/DBT/streaming) but very sporadic and it was on very late and I was often coming in a little worse for wear. Has been great to watch all the way through. Absolutely in love with George. Some scenes I’ve howled. Like Kramer a lot but found him irritating originally. Have never thought jerry was best ir central. Elaine great foil.

For dinner ( she's 9 Smile)
Mandy on iplayer is brilliant ,I've watched both series and the Christmas special and only discovered people just do nothing ( Kurrupt Fm ) last year and absolutely love that

The Flight Attendant which stars Penny from. TBBT in a very different role and it’s really good (thriller/dark comedy).

Bosch on Amazon Prime, based on the Michael Connolly books about an LA detective (who lives in an amazing house).

Me and DH were late to the party; we're just about to start Series 4 (of 7).

I was late to Downton Abbey as well, but absolutely loved that.

Back in time for the corner shop

Another vote for Superstore. Also Bob's Burgers. Avoided it because it was a cartoon but it is so funny.

Humphriescushion · 09/02/2022 07:59

Great thread. I love the marvellous mrs maisle on amazon prime. Waiting with baited breath the next series. And have just started watching the Kominsky method with Michael Douglas and enjoying it.

I started watching the Mindy Project on Prime and was really enjoying it, went to watch it the other day and it's no longer free!

Black bird. Accidentally came across it. It was broadcast on the 5Movies website of the Firestick device. Cool series with a well-written plot. And viewing without problems made me fully enjoy the series. See for yourself www.firestickhow.com/best-free-movie-streaming-sites.htmll and choose the best site for you!

You’ve all inspired me to try Friday Night Dinner as I’ve never watched it

Gatekeeper · 09/08/2022 18:40

me and dh watched Unforgotten for the first time a few weeks ago and were blown away with it. We both cried proper snotty tears at the end...fab acting, story everything

DameHelena · 09/08/2022 18:41

Just wanted to get on this thread, really, as an aide memoire for all those shows that I must catch up on!
Scott & Bailey is really good. At the risk of sounding like a snob, I came to it with low expectations as it was on ITV and I tend to be disappointed with their stuff, but the acting and the relationship between the two leads is wonderful.

I'm determined not to let Detectorists get away.
Rev is a bit of a hidden gem.

I’ve been watching Yellowjackets on Sky Atlantic and I’ve loved it. Very creepy story about a girls’ high school football team lost in the wilderness in America after a plane crash. Great cast too - Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, Melanie Lynskey.

Tha sounds good.

for me series I missed and then binge watched and loved.

I love The Outlaws on bbc iPlayer.
it’s about a group of people having to complete community service for various reasons. Very funny with drama in it too. Definitely worth a watch.

Namechanger1002 · 10/08/2022 04:17

The Witch Finder - also on Bbc iPlayer is also easy watching and funny
