@jesuistot

I can’t get over some of the age gaps. 30 YEARS between the eldest and youngest child, full siblings. That must be some sort of record surely?

And some of the grandkids being 8 or 9 when their new aunts and uncles are born.

I watched the episode the other day with Millie’s (first) baby shower, and Sue was saying “it was so nice there were 4 generations there, my mum, me, Millie and the girls and baby Heidie” and then Noel goes, erm, Sue that’s three generations, just saying.

She’s not the brightest is she.

I watched their house tour on YouTube and there were hardly any toys anywhere and not many wardrobes. What do they do with all the toys? Each child gets about 50 new giant plastic toys for their birthday and Christmas. They must have a secret play room somewhere. Or they throw toys in the skip the day after they get them. I wonder where they keep all the clothes as well.

Belledan1 · 08/01/2022 15:28

Think they keep clothes in like the cellar bit where she washes. They must have a toy room.

I strongly suspect the toys will be in a skip the minute the camera finishes recording. They don't value anything in that household, no importance is placed on special things, taking ownership of stuff that's important to you, having a space that's yours or individuality.

I doubt they have a toy room, especially as so many of the children have to share cramped bedrooms with several siblings. The house is far too small for so many people.
Belledan1 · 08/01/2022 23:07

Yep point taken.

Lifeisnteasy · 09/01/2022 13:32

I noticed that Sue’s hair is suddenly very thin. I wonder what the effect will be on her body, now it isn’t in the pregnancy/postnatal cycle any longer. I was saying to DH today that my body didn’t really settle into its new permanent shape etc until months after I had finished breastfeeding.

bringiton23 · 09/01/2022 15:55

Yes @Lifeisnteasy I thought that too

What effect does non stop pregnancy have on a woman's body ? Does it impact hormones, none density etc ? Or is it actually a 'natural state' and maybe sue is healthier than anyone who has had average 1-3 kids ? Be interesting to know !

It's an interesting question. She certainly seems to have changed quite drastically since the last pregnancy, it all seems to be catching up with her.
felulageller · 09/01/2022 23:08

If there was no birth control and no formula/ wet nursing most women would have about 6 children in their lifetime. That's what the female body is designed for.

There is more ovarian cancer now because our ovaries are ovulating much more than they were designed for. So Sue will be at decreased risk of some cancers (not sure how long she bfs for so can't comment on breast cancer risk) because of all of her pregnancies.

But she is much more at risk of prolapse (how has that not happened!!) And bladder damage etc.

No doctor would recommend 22 pregnancies for your health!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2022 09:43

I thought they only had 5-7 Grandchildren. How do they have 11?

Millie x1 (one on way)
Say Sophie has 3-4 that means Chris had 5-6 ??

TheDuchessOfMN · 13/01/2022 11:33

They are including Chris’s partner’s children

LemonViolet · 13/01/2022 12:17

I’ve been reading Radford threads on Tattle forum which is entertaining - apparently they have form for not including Chris’s stepchildren until recently, when seeing as they possibly can’t have any more children themselves, it perhaps suits them to big up the number of grandchildren for attention/media etc.

Tattle is very informative on the Radfords!

woodhill · 13/01/2022 18:06

I shouldn't watch it as it is so dreadful but somehow

It seems so scripted

Whinge · 13/01/2022 20:35

It seems scripted because most of it is.

They set up scenarios and fake situations to film for the show.

Just looked at tattle Lemon Violet. I will have a good read later x

littlepetit · 13/01/2022 21:40

Is Millie pregnant again? I follow their Facebook but not seen anything about that

Yes she's pregnant again. It's beyond obvious in the clips from the show but it seems like they are keeping it a secret, probably so they can do another big reveal on the show.
RevolvingPivot · 13/01/2022 22:07

I don't understand why they had Millie stay in that house just for one night. I bet the producers thought she would mess up and it would cause drama for the show.

woodhill · 13/01/2022 22:12

Made me laugh when Sue was going on about how she supported her dc being whoever they wanted to be etc yet they are never given any freedom or encouragement to achieve anything in life apart from having children

KittensTeaAndCake · 13/01/2022 22:22

Those Tattle threads are savage, they bitch about stuff just for the sake of it.
I'm no fan of the Radfords but they go too far and are just plain nasty. I hope none of the Radford DC read those threads slagging them off.

sociallydistained · 13/01/2022 22:33

I feel so so sorry for the kids. It seems like they are worried about stopping having kids as it's all they know so I really do wonder how they'll cope with no babies.

seekinglondonlife · 13/01/2022 23:47

I also had a look at the thread on Tattle, and if you think that's bad you've obviously never read the comments on The Sun, which is who the Radfords sell their stories to. It must be utterly horrible for the children, but their parents have ultimately chosen to put them in the media spotlight.
