It must be utterly horrible for the children, but their parents have ultimately chosen to put them in the media spotlight.

The problem is whilst the children have no choice their parents obviously want people to talk about their family, send free shit for their children and use them for content for the shows.

As sad as some may feel for the comments that others make about the children the bottom line is that their parents are the ones putting them in this situation and encouraging people to discuss their kids.

Personally I'm not sure any of the comments one of the younger children may read about themselves in future no matter how brutal could be as damaging as knowing you were literally only born because your parents wanted content for another TV show.

I agree it must be utterly horrible for the children. Imagine every part of your childhood / teenage years, personal information being shared by your parents for the sole purpose of making money. It's clear that money from the pie shop is just a small part of their family income, it's selling the children that makes the major money.

Also they must have had film crews / a camera filming them for several months to get all the footage for the TV show, I can't imagine how diffcult it must be to have no privacy in your own home.

I wondered this as well. It must be pretty crowded and loud at times with 20 ish people and 4 dogs, let alone with cameras and crew as well. I can't imagine how anyone gets a quiet space or time on their own if they need it (including the dogs)
In earlier series I'm pretty sure they said they didn't go out (which they might not have had budget for) but I think recently I've seen Sue and Noel go for date nights or the occassional night away so I guess they sometimes get a calmer environment, but I think only the very youngest ones get time when there's only a few of them in the house.

In my opinion Sue is just like having another child. Noel works in the pie shop, does everything round the house including cooking the meals and all you ever see Sue doing is holding babies or online shopping while everything just kind of happens around her.

It’s so strange that they’re covering up Millie’s pregnancy. She’s very obviously very pregnant in the latest vlog. Unless it’s a big storyline in the new series or something.

I would imagine she'll be doing another Sun exclusive again where she'll say she wasn't using contraception because she didn't realize getting pregnant was so easy. Either that or the big reveal will be on the final part of the programme.

Sue admitted in last weeks episode that they’re not using contraception. So to then make that big announcement about not having any more babies seems completely contradictory unless they’re practicing abstinence!

I doubt even Sue is going to conceive naturally at 44/45. The fact she isn’t pregnant already suggests she’s gone past it now.

As for Millie, it seems odd - I assume the dad is different to Ophelia’s, maybe he wants her to keep it private?

Agree its not a choice at this stage it's mother nature going for fucks sake love you're done. I have no doubt if she could have more she would be having them, in their minds they need the babies to bring in the money and the viewers. Without new babies they are very soon going to find themselves with a load of school aged kids and young adults and the money will very quickly dry up.

That's why I think their saving Millie's baby for the show, as some sort of big reveal, normally they only do a show because there is a new baby.

The last few babies they have always announced that they’re finished and it’s ‘definitely’ the last one but then don’t actually seem to actively do anything at all to make prevent pregnancy. I don’t think they have ever decided they are ‘done’, they have just decided to never prevent and it will end when it just doesn’t happen for them anymore.

Agreed, but I really think that is it for them now - the youngest is what, 18 months odd? She’s never gone this long without being pregnant, so I expect her uterus is closed for business now!

It will be interesting to see how their income stream changes as their kids get older - huge families are only really interesting when there are babies and toddlers around, so you can see them at their most chaotic & marvel at how they do it. I can’t imagine the public interest will still be as great when they’re all school aged. Perhaps there will be a lull and then a resurgence when they have 30 grandchildren?!

It feels so wrong to be even commenting on it, but as far as I know, she’s still breastfeeding the youngest, or was until recently. She never did it for more than a few weeks before (I had 2 of mine at the same time as her and used to follow her on social media). So the fact that she continued to BF for so long this time made me think that she actually meant it when she said it was the last baby.

I remember there was an Instagram post which got deleted which was a photo of a text message from Millie saying something about her refusing to be treated like she was in her last pregnancy and alluding to a falling out with Sue.

So maybe Millie is refusing to openly announce the pregnancy and staying out of the "spotlight" a bit to avoid negative attention on her and her daughter?

I don't follow them on Instagram anymore as it's all showing just off what they buy nothing interesting at all. You'd think they'd try harder to get decent social media content as they seem to mostly make money out of being "celebrities".

I'm sadly expecting some of the older girls to try and take over the reigns with possibly a spin off show. They first appeared on TV in 2012 according to a quick google so for 10 years all the kids have ever known is cameras and having their whole lives filmed. I would be incredibly surprised if none of the girls tried to emulate their mum with a large family if only to keep the money rolling in.

I don't think any of them will have big families. Despite Sue declaring "they loooove being in a big family!" at every opportunity, I don't think they do, especially the older ones who have been surrogate parents.
As awful as it sounds I wouldn't be surprised if Sue and Noel split up a few years down the line. Sue could do a tell all book as a revenue stream. I can't see the media being interested in them once the youngest is past toddler hood.

Chris has 3, his partner already had 4 or 5 dc so if anyone has a big family it will be him. He seems to want to stay very private though. Sophie had 2 and then had a 3rd after getting the contraceptive injection. There is some speculation that she has split up from her husband.

@seekinglondonlife how does Chris and his partner afford all those kids ? Only get universal credit for first two now so last 4-5 born after 2012 (?) was it won't get anything for

@flyhighdarling only 2 of the dc were born after the rule change. Chris didn't seem to work before, no idea if he does now.
