Sunday at 9pm......gonna be my new Angela Black.🙈

I must be a glutton for punishment....it's even got the same actor in it (Ed the 'private investigator')

Hi guys! I wonder if anyone else will join us. The title of the show is pretty non-descript though, I guess (hence me losing my own thread🙈)!

Do you recommend Showtrial @Aquarius1234? I've got it on my planner but haven't watched yet

BBC dramas are usually good, aren't they? (I hope!) I'm still salty that I watched all of Angela Black🤣
Though it was nice having a Sunday night routine even though it was deeply disapointing

I suppose my only gripe is that he clearly is giving new evidence in his 'summing up' and I have no idea if that would be unchallenged or allowed in RL.

Didn't know what to expect by that as only read a very brief summary this evening, but was very pleasantly surprised. Brilliant so far, pleased it's on again tomorrow - though realise it's all on iPlayer anyway so makes little difference..

Yes I thought this, and also wondered how long he would be given to give his 'statement' but presume we have to suspend a bit of disbelief for the drama I guess Grin

Nearly finished the first ep and love it! Most charming mystery I’ve ever watched so far. He’s lovely.

I heard the author of the novel interviewed a while back and he came across very well.

I didn’t watch Angela Black, I’m not good with DV, looks like I didn’t miss much?

Yeah some suspension of disbelief is needed here I think 🤣. I like the idea, though. Funny to see the jury in the background all fidgeting as if to say "oh, this is new"
