Great acting, really hope it turns out okay for the main couple. Amusing when hard guy/drug dealer wanted his Uni homework done

Yeah..like what is the subject....it's a degree, not an American High School....anybody can't just rock up and write an essay for you! He didn't even ask what subject 🤣

Jamil said 'college' and then something like 'on for a 2:1'. Would it not be 'university' or 'uni'? College is sixth-form and/or further ed, and doesn't have classes of results like that, does it?

'College' in that context sounds more American.

And yeah, imagine if Jamil is studying Classics and wants an essay on Homer's Iliad... our protagonist is barely able to show an interest in books

I really enjoyed it - all the characters were v good. I really hope things end well for them

I'll check this out. I bailed on Angela Black after four episodes, so I'm feeling very cautious around Sunday night drama at the moment.

Really enjoyed it but hate that it is on tonight as well. I enjoy my Sunday night only dramas.

I know it's not a comedy but I did snort when his parents protested when he was called a drug dealer then a few minutes later he appears dressed like that

What did we all think of tonight's? I'm resisting watching the rest all at once! I have to say the Jamil character is cracking me up (against all better judgement!) The main character is so lovely

Best thing on tv for ages. I absolutely loved it and couldn't resist watching it all.

I didn't watch tonight. I'm encouraged by the people saying it's good.

Had to record as DD2 was watching the football a d it was too late by the time it finished to watch. Will catch up later in the week.

A couple of frustrations, but overall I thought it was brilliantly done. The lead actor was absolutely mesmerising.

He really was. She was too. Compelling.
