Anyone watching this new comedy crime thriller? I have high expectations, purely because I fail to believe that they would have secured Christopher Walken if it had been completely terrible..

The Stephen merchant character is funny..

He played a very similar character in this film m.imdb.com/title/tt1412528/ - but yes he is very convincing!

Merchant was great and very funny.

@Balletpumps Claes Bang not good looking ? Should have gone to spec savers he’s so handsome! I thought the funny bits were slightly forced and cliche but enjoyed it over all.

I found Claes Bang's character juggling 'family life' with his sordid crime empire so off-putting that I couldn't get beyond that in terms of judging his looks.

On the subject of CB, apparently he was in The Bridge. I'm struggling to remember which season. Any ideas?

Not sure about that. He played Dracula on tv though that’s where I knew him from.

Google tells me Claes was in season 2 of the bridge plying Claudio a male gigolo. He is actually Danish and English is his second language. Would never have guessed that from his accent

I've seen Claes Bang in Borgen - he was some sort of political advisor or assistant of some sort. He was quite weedy in it, he's gotten better with age.

I think another series would too neatly wrap up the individual storylines. Surely better to leave on a 'what if' high?

I was hoping Dean. Would romance Walkens daughter to get to him . Would love to see Claes and Dolly Wells in a scene together.

Hello fellow Outlaws fans! No spoilers please as I’ve only seen ep1 of S2 so far!

So glad to see the Claes Bang love - he was gorgeous in Dracula too! As someone on the Dracula discussion thread said at the time “Mr Bang indeed!”

I doubt there will be another series, at least not with all the same characters. I suspect that one of the reasons they filmed 1&2 back to back was because of Christopher Walken, are they likely to convince him to come back to good ol’ Bristle again?

i just read they filmed them back to back due to covid restrictions halting production
not finished it yet, just watched episode 3
i am enjoying it very much and want to resist binging.

I remember reading the Dracula thread !! I was a lurker bit a poster at the time though, wasn’t it like a 30 page swoon fest? It was hilarious

They are interviewing cast members and discussing the episodes as they air, so there are only 2 available at the moment.

No spoilers, but that was a real treat! I found the second half of the series even better than the first.
